   DECENT WOOD APPEARACNE WITH NEEDED STAIN TO COLOR IN CHIPS.
   CABINET NOT BEST QUALITY, SOME CHIPS WITH COLOR MISMATCHES. NEEDED FURNITURE STAIN TO IMPROVE THE LOOK OF THE CASING. LATCHES AND TOP HANDLE WOULD HELP TO PREVENT FROM OPENING AND EASE OF CARRYING IT PLACE TO PLACE.

   Great Idea – could be better execution
   This bar kit is okay but could be so much better.Despite not having any official training or experience I have become the designated bartender for family and friends. I have my own kit of sorts that I have pieced together but when I saw this I thought it was perfect.It is perfect in concept but it lacks in execution.The quality of the wood seems nice but the varnish or whatever the finish is is uneven with parts that weren’t allowed to dry sufficiently which left patches sticky, rough and discolored. The interior has a place from many of the included accessories in the small pull out shelf which is a nice orgnaizational detail. The shelf hangs a bit oddly when pulled out and if not lined up perfectly doesn’t slide back in very easily.The accessories are the best part of this product. They are sturdy quality and perfect for the purpose and is a great assortment of standard and maybe not so standard beverage making needs. I especially liked the feel of the muddling tool – it felt much more comfortable in my hand than the one I got for $20. The included shaker set fits well and seems to help chill the drinks a little better than other shaker sets I have tried.I wished that the box had a closure if some sort – something like a antique brass hook latch would work perfectly with the look. The latch would be useful if you have to travel with the kit but also just moving the box around on the counter when stored or moving it to the dining room/patio to make drinks near the guests. There isn’t much grip on the box and even sliding the box back on the counter to store was difficult at times as the door would slip open and the corresponding movement would dislodge the contents and require some reorganization.Overall it is a solid, clever concept for an item and the quality of the accessories makes it good value for the money but it could be so much better in overall quality and specifically in the quality/stability of the box.

   Pretty in the kitchen
   Looks very nice and comes with everything you need to make any party a little extra special. Or just making yourself a nightcap after a long day. Shaker can be used with the big strainer or you can take the top off and strain it through that way as well. I don’t really know the difference. The holder is great at keeping it all together. There is no back where the mudder goes, so be careful when picking up the whole set together or it will fall. Started using it day one.
