   Makes a world of difference and is indescructible
   I ordered this after I got sick of using a fine mesh strainer alongside my crummy free hawthorne strainer to keep out ice chips. To my delight, this does a very good job at keeping out those pesky small ice chips without having to whip out extra equipment!Just for that I think the cleaning process is justified. It’s relatively easy to just pull off the spring and wash it separately, just don’t lose the spring. I have ordered a second spring from barfly to double up on this strainer, which is what I did with the old hawthorne I had. The main reason I got this one is the greater control on pours, whether you want to do so gated, partially gated, or open, its so easy you dont even have to think about it.

   Excellent quality!
   The barfly Julio strainer is beautifully crafted and compliments any bar.Heavy to the touch and has a quality finish that will stand the test of time.Barfly bar tools are great and easily recommended!

   Long lasting
   Had this strainer for 5 years and recently got a new one to replace it. Absolutely love it!! Definitely holds up to the fast work pace I have.

   Not cheap, but worth it
   I got the gold one. Quality is immediately recognizable, as it’s a bit thicker than the bargain versions, and the springs are tighter together meaning that they will capture more ice chips, pulp, etc. Fits onto a mixing glass with a satisfying “thwap”, and you can pour confidently knowing it will stay put. It’s going to cost you more than a cheap one, but if you’ve got the money and are serious about your mixology hobby, i think you will really be happy. Range of colour choices is great too.

   Mine didn’t come with a spring.
   Sad because I love barfly products but as the title says, mine only shipped with the strainer and no spring. Luckily I had a backup.Otherwise a really great strainer. Would recommend this to anyone.

   I didnt expect to love this one! When i use this i dont need another strainer i just use this one because it gets all the small ice, mint leaves etc! Even the egg whites!

   Nothing amazing but does a good job and looks nice. Easy to use and maintain. So happy, I bought another one!

    I just bought a lot of Barfly bar tools for home, and everything looks really good, except for this, I tested it on their own brand Boston shaker and it because the spring is far too narrow it slides out mid pour. Had I tried to make a drink with it the contents of the tin would have slid out and splashed everywhere. Complete waste of money. How does a company design something that doesn’t fit their own product? Atrocious
