Words are not adequate to describe the Tale as Old as Time.
Enchanting from the very beginning……Belle lives life every single day in the village doing then same things everyday.Finding escape only in the world of her books.Though parts of this story vary with the Disney original Beauty and the Beast, this one is a masterpiece in its own right. It seemed to fill in where the film version left openings for. The storyline flowed perfectly, smoothly and was enchanting from the beginning. Gaston is the normal beastly egotistical self-centered person as in the film. The humor in the book was refreshing and exhilarating! You will to keep turning the pages till the very end. True beauty is found within. It maters not how beautiful you may appear from the outside, If you are hideous on the inside does your beauty really matter?A favorite now and forever! Please sit down and be our Guest!I really wish that they would release this book on audible, Or audio. Some time to wait till the movie will be released,Enchanting the world with its beauty magic and truth from a tale as old as time.

Tale As Old As Time….
I always love the disney novelization of films. It pretty much follows the movie but gives you just a *bit* more. What I love about this is that it gives you the background of the beast a bit more, answers the question of Belles mother, (which I am sure the movie will answer as well) and gives you a better look into several characters, including how beastly Gaston is, but he is so much fun as a villian! Bottom line, this follows the original animated movie to a T and even adds more layers to an already outstanding story.

I like the depth they’ve added to the characters
I finished this book in an hour and it was fabulous! It’s the novel of the upcoming live action movie. Being familiar with both the original movie and the Broadway musical I was curious to see the differences. I like the depth they’ve added to the characters, especially Belle who is now more than a bookworm. It also doesn’t feel like the relationship developed so quickly as it does in the original movie. There’s a part in the end that I really hope is in the movie. Being a fan of many versions of Beauty and the Beast including the original tv show there’s always the disappointment when the Beast is transformed. (What can I say? Vincent ruined me for all other versions). There is a rather cute scene at the end that will give those of us who could care less about the transformation a laugh.

Love this story
I live this story and now I have it on audio books. My eyesight has gone downhill but now I can listen to one of my favorite books. The person who reads it has a nice voice. And itâs the classic story.

Disney Fairytale
Excellent written version of a Disney fairytale! I enjoyed reading and listening to this book very much. It fills in a few missing details from the classic animated movie. There were times I could almost hear the music.

Still a tale as old as time
For those of us who don’t want to go see it in the theatre (mine being not wanting the experience ruined by lights of phones etc etc) this book will tell you most of what you need to know about the film so you can still have an experience before it becomes available for home viewing. I thought this book did a wonderful job of capturing even the musical sections of the film while still telling a story. Perfect for any age.

Wonderful !
I had seen this when I was young, but didn’t remember that much about it. So happy I was able to find this book and read it. It was so engaging with adventure, wonder and love. I am sure to read this again and again. Thank you to Mr. Walt Disney for his brilliant imagination.

I was expecting a script (my bad), but I do prefer a novel version! Really happy with it, can not wait to read it.

This is the novelization of the 2017 live-action film and the book is just as perfect as the film. Really enjoyable light-reading
