a Creative, Original, + Thrilling masterpiece
I just recently found out about BATB when I happened across it on Netflix and went through the whole first season in less than a week, and finished season 2 in just two days. This show is so addicting that I actually stayed up whole nights watching episode after episode until I forced myself to go to bed.The plot is so refreshing and original, providing the perfect balance of thrill, romance, drama, and mystery, creatively integrating subtle fantasy with science and reality, and seamlessly weaving in Cat’s detective cases among its complex layers. The show is also not predictable, often placing the characters in situations involving difficult decisions that challenge the viewer’s perspective.The character of Catherine Chandler is truly, in my opinion, the epitome of what a female lead role should be and is rare to find in TV shows today. She is strong (physically and emotionally), intelligent, confident, brave, devoted, honorable, loyal, passionate, beautiful, kind, and a great detective, and rather than being driven by her emotions, as female characters often tend to be portrayed, she is dedicated to her values and always strives to do the right thing.I’ve been a fan of a few other CW shows but BATB is by far my favorite. I’ve never felt more passionate about a show, and so my heart sunk when I read that BATB doesn’t get as many ratings as some of the CW’s other shows like TVD (which I also watch but have lost interest in), but I honestly think this is because the network doesn’t advertise it enough. I didn’t even know about BATB until randomly finding it a few weeks ago. I hope the CW doesn’t give up on BATB and continues making more seasons. If they advertise the show more, I’m certain its ratings will soar.

Love Love Love this show! I cannot express how much! And I cannot imagine now that I watch it, ever not watching it. I am a person that doesnt watch one primetime show. but Beauty and the Beast has me hooked. This show has a little bit of everything for everyone. It’s got drama, action, suspense, romance, chemistry. The chemistry between #Vincat, Jay Ryan & Kristin Kreuk is absolutely amazing. I compare their chemistry to Twilight chemistry. When the have scenes together, I feel like I’m there with them, that the chemistry is coming through the tv. They even have great chemistry when they are at odds. Their chemistry the supporting characters are awesome as well. I’m constantly rooting for them and cannot wait for their sweet reunion!! It just infuriates me that not more people are watching this show! I go on twitter, facebook, and even here and see all the fans and I just don’t understand how their ratings are so low. I wish everyone cold give #BATB an honest shot and watch 1 or 2 full episodes and let go. I really don’t think if people did that, they’d be disappointed. I’d recommend #BATB any day to anyone!

Beauty and the Beast Season 2
I have purchased the Season 1 DVD as well as have on my Kindle. I also just downloaded Premiere Ep of Season 2. Amazing show and different than other shows. It is different than the original and is not the fairy tale version however there are creative nods to those verisons. It has updated action, drama, mystery, mythology and romance. Kristin Kreuk has raised the bar of her talent and physicality and is flawless as the Beautiful Catherine. If you have not seen or not aware of the talents of New Zealander Jay Ryan as Vincent, super soldier Beast you are missing out. His transformation is amazing. There are tons there for ladies and men. Sendhil Ramamurthy is better than ever for his Heroes and Covert Affairs Fans. And the humor and delivery of Austin Basis and Nina Lisandrello as the side kicks have terrific timing. Brad Kern (Charmed) has joined Jennifer Levin and Sherri Cooper for this year’s production and writing and it shows. Catherine Ashton and her costume team captures each of the characters with contemporary elements. Worth every minute.

What a love story.
I didn’t realize that Beauty & The Beast was a series on TV and then I saw a promo. I decided to watch it and I was hooked. I think this is a really good show. I love the relationship that Vincent and Catherine have. They seem to be deeply in love and you can see it when they are together. They way they look at each other and the way they touch one another (it is so real). He can hear her heart beat anywhere – what an attachment. I think the story line is really a good one. Vincent/Beast with a true heart helping Catherine/Cop solve crimes. It couldn’t get better then this. I think all the actors do an extremely good job. I like all the characters and their attachment to each other. I watched the first season and now I’m watching the second and boy is it worth it. I hope this show stays on for many more seasons. I look forward to it’s return.

Its not often that second season of any show hits their stride like this one and just keep running into better and better storylines. The first season was really great and I was surprised and elated when the second season surpassed it.Chemistry, chemistry, chemistry. If its not there, then a show isn’t worth watching. I see so many shows just tossing actors and characters together and trying to force something that just isn’t there. Not so with this show. Kristin and Jay have amazing onscreen chemistry together and it really does sell this series, along with a fantastic supporting cast that are a pleasure to watch.For once I find myself really looking forward to a third season (this show has been renewed for a third and fourth season)
If not for Amazon.com I wouldn’t even be able to watch this show, unless I paid a ridiculous amount of money to have subscription TV or internet-based TV. I only saw the first season of this show on free-to-air in Australia and new it was going to be great, and also a little more mature than other supernatural-type dramas. I’m too old to watch programmes that are so based on fantasy that their plots are implausible and unwatchable. This show covered some really great themes in its first season and all I can say to anybody involved in its production who may end up reading these customer reviews, is please keep up the high standards. The actors and their characters are great and deserve a solid storyline to depict each episode.so please don’t mess with the winning formula. Also, please don’t think that people don’t really watch TV anymore. I am a child of the 80’s and I love television. So thankyou to the CW for this show and thankyou Amazon for my DVDs!

Cette série est fantastique.Elle amorce un virage que je trouve intéressant,plus sombre et moins romantique.Les acteurs sont toujours aussi excellents et le charme de la réalisation continue de mettre en valeur cette nouvelle saison.Il faut le voir comme un conte moderne mais pour adulte car certaines scène reste violente.Je pense toujours au film warm bodies en regardant cette série mais avec un autre genre de créature.A voir absolument!
