Smells Like Mung Bean
If you’re at the age where you’re looking for an under eye cream, you’re also at the age where you can’t read small print without your readers, so my initial feeling upon receiving the Black Yuja Bean Eye Cream was frustration. Even with my reading glasses I couldn’t make out the tiny print on the packaging. I had to take pictures of the box and magnify them in order to understand how to use this product. For me, that’s simply time not well spent.But as someone who uses Korean skincare products exclusively, I was interested in seeing if this cream delivered on its promise. The ingredients were what I’ve come to expect from a Korean skin care line – Yuja water, black bean, and mung bean to name a few. These are all high quality, naturally derived ingredients. I wouldn’t say the cream had an off-putting scent, but I could definitely smell a bit of the mung bean. And if you’ve ever smelled mung bean, you’d definitely know it when you smell it again because it absolutely stinks. That being said, the mung bean smell wasn’t as offensive in this cream formulation. But for someone with a sensitive gag reflex this is something to consider.On the other hand, I appreciated the fact that the natural ingredients weren’t masked by artificial scents or perfumes. This formula is vegan, and it comes in recycled packaging, which helps reduce your carbon footprint.There’s a vibrating applicator that I didn’t care for when I applied the product under my eyes. In fact, I believe this aggravated my skin, as my under eye bags seemed puffier after use. This cream is also designed to rid fine lines on the nasolabial folds of the skin known as the “laugh” lines. I did in fact see immediate results in this area after one use.The Black Yuja Bean Eye Cream is actually part of a three step skincare line including a milk cleanser and serum. I have only used this eye cream, but I believe if used along with the other two steps I would see better, faster results. If I were to recommend this eye cream as a single purchase I’d say there are better options on the market so look for a single item product not part of a skincare step process. However, given the high quality ingredients I truly believe that if used together as a three system, this product line is definitely one not to miss.

Okay, kind of gimmicky
I didn’t really see any negative effects from this cream, but I didn’t really see any positive ones, either. I think while the cream maybe provided a bit of extra moisture to my eye area, I didn’t see any lifting or diminishing of my wrinkles like the product advertises. The vibrating applicator was an interesting touch but I don’t really see the point, I almost wish the tip was just metal because the cooling effect was nice. If you’re really looking to incorporate these ingredients into your routine, I don’t think this product is particularly bad, but I don’t see how it justifies its high price point, either.

Excellent Eye Cream with Vibrating Applicator
My HEVEBLUE Black Yuja Bean Lifting Auto Eye Cream arrived in an attractive sealed box that shows information about the product, a list of ingredients, instructions for use, and a symbol indicating the product has been tested by an independent laboratory similar to UL in the USA. I suspect this may have to do with the vibrator. The tube containing the product is also attractive looking and longer in size as a result of the vibrator/applicator. The tube lists information about the product, instructions for use, and shows an expiration date of 07/23/2027. The product is made in Korea.Prior to trying the product, I applied some to the inside of my wrist to check for allergic reaction, and I experienced no irritation of any kind. In applying it, I was careful to squeeze only an appropriate amount onto the application tip and pushed the applicator with my finger to activate the vibrator. I then spread the cream onto my eye area, massaging in a circular motion while the vibrator enhanced the action. It felt very good in addition to being cooling and soothing, and my eye area looked very hydrated with lines around my eyes plumped up with the moisturizing effects of the cream. I definitely looked better after application, and the moisture remains hours later on this cool, dry day.I am happy to recommend HEVEBLUE Black Yuja Bean Lifting Auto Eye Cream because of its hydration, the cooling effects of the applicator surface, and the vibrating action of the applicator. All serve to provide a brightening, lifting effect to the eye area along with a soothing, cooling effect during application, which is superior to that of simply scooping eye cream out of a jar and then tapping and massaging it into the skin by hand. The high-quality ingredients are effective, and the superior application process make this an experience like no other when it comes to eye creams. I would give this product 6 stars if I could.
