Worth the hype!
Iâll be honest, Iâve only gotten into skincare over the past two years and never thought I needed an eye serum. Iâve always loved Brickell for their high quality, so after seeing great results from their other products, I figured this was worth a try. At first, I didnât expect to see much of a difference, but WOW now I understand why people rave about it!Within a week my eyes looked less puffy, smoother and more awake. The dark circles under my eyes lightened significantly, and I no longer look like a perpetually sleep deprived raccoon haha Seriously though this product is worth the hype!I would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting to get more serious about their skin routine or looking for a replacement to an existing serum. Itâs free from harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances, so it feels super lightweight and soothing. Plus, a little goes a long way, just one pump is plenty for me so I can see this bottle lasting me for a while.If youâve been on the fence about trying this, trust me, this one is worth it!

What I’ve been missingâ a solid, hydrating foundation before eye cream
I have struggled with dark circles for most of my life, and so I have tried many eye creams and gels over the years well before I got into skincare as a whole. As it turns out, an underlying serum with effective hydrating ingredients was just the silver bullet I was looking for. Who knew?Let’s start with the basics. This eye serum from Brickell has no scent, which is a huge plus for my sensitive skin. Being a serum, the texture is as you would expect: a liquid-y gel that applies slightly sticky, but absorbs quickly into the skin in a matter of seconds. I find that a little less than one full pump dispenses more than enough product for both eyes. If you use more than that, you might find that the excessive product will tend to drip, which could cause some slight stinging. Be sure to use the correct amount of product!What I like most about using this serum is that it is so quick to apply. Just a single quick pump, spread to two fingers, and use one finger per each eye. Roughly 30 seconds later, the serum has absorbed, leaving a solid foundation to follow up with your choice of eye cream. No matter which cream I choose to go on after, they all spread more smoothly and evenly than when applied solo.But the magic is what comes afterâcompared to using just a standalone eye cream, my eyes look more awake & refreshed with this serum added (even when I struggle with a good night’s sleep) thanks to the added hydration the serum provides. While my dark circles are not yet gone completely, I have already noticed a difference in a little over a week’s time. I’ve had this serum for a week now, and even just applying it once each morning after washing my face, I can see a difference in the color and smoothness under and around my eyes. While it claims to be unscented, the natural ingredients give it a faint citrusy smell. The instructions say that the bottle will last 45 days if you’re applying twice a day, but once a day will last you 90.The reason for docking this product review a star: I feel like the pump is metered in a way so that it dispenses slightly more than you need each time. You can very carefully press down just right to get less than a full pump, which both feels like an appropriate amount and will help you stretch this bottle to 100 days or beyond if you want.

As a user of other Brickell products, I’ve been looking through their offerings to try to find something to help with the dark bags under my eyes. As I get older, I really want to find a good product firm up the areas on my face that seem to look tired and dreary. Especially one that is made from natural ingredients. Since my wife swears by Vitamin C products for under the eyes I figured I’d give it a try.I’ve been pretty impressed by the serum so far. My face seems brighter, skin looks smoother and clearer, and I’ve even received a few compliments from work on how I seem to have a better attitude and “brighten up the room” (lol). The serum is easy to put on (I use it in the morning) and smells really good, kind of light citrus smell which makes sense. Seems to last throughout the day and other the past few weeks I’ve really seen an improvement in the areas around my eyes from a fullness and firmness perspective. Plus the bags are mostly gone even though my sleep patterns really haven’t changed.I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve their look and gain some confidence! This is a very good product too, easy to use, it absorbs quickly, and it works. It also really refreshes the area under the eye, it has reduced darkness and puffiness for me, and has reduced wrinkle visibility slightly too, giving an overall more youthful look. Recommended.
