    the best your money can get, it does leave a little white cast but it vanish in a short time, it’s worthwhile, no chemicals, not perfect but certainly the best low cost option that really works it has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide both key ingredients to have a full protection from sun damage

    This is an embarrassing product…
    I like the rest of Cerave’s line up, I use a ton of their other products. Their Skin Renewing Night Cream is probably one of the best moisturizers on the market at this moment and can go toe to toe with some of the big expensive brands you’d find at Sephora. I use their Diabetics Dry Skin Cream all the time and it’s positively divine, so much so that I haven’t bothered to test out other brands. It’s just that good.This? This thing? I genuinely can’t believe this is amongst their other products. I read a couple of reviews saying it leaves a white cast and I, looking for a way to make my fair medium skin tone lean more towards the fair end thought “hey, maybe it will lend me just enough to lighten me up a hair.”No.I only used a tiny dab, not even the full amount you’re SUPPOSED to use on your face and not only did it leave me with a white cast but with a blue-ish grey-ish cast that genuinely made me look like I had died about 6 hours ago. UNBELIEVABLY bad cast. And I’m a white person! If that leaves a cast that intense on me, I can’t even imagine what kind of cast it would leave on someone darker than me!I get it, this is probably purely a physical sunscreen, its probably all zinc or mineral or something like that in there and the point is that is creates a literal physical barrier so that the uv light can’t penetrate through or it bounces off. You can’t have a physical barrier without it existing, that’s literally impossible. HOWEVER. The fact that it’s THAT bad of a blue grey cast??? What are we doing here?????

    Overall a good budget choice.
    PROS:Mineral sunscreen made specifically for your face. Price is good and seems to work effectively.CONS:A bit thick and can leave a whiteish cast if you don’t rub it in all the way (and quickly). It dries fast and once it starts drying if you’re still trying to move it around it will catch any dry skin and make it noticeable.TIPS/TRICKS – I found that putting my moisturizer on right before, letting it sit for a few mins to absorb, and then putting the sunscreen on helped it go on easier and smoother. – I also found that doing your whole face all at once and quickly getting it all rubbed in helps the white cast situation.OVERALL:I’d say a good budget choice from a good brand but def have to do some little tweaks to make it smoother.

    Strong White Cast, Not Waterproof, Will Let You Tan
    First, I do not recommend this for rigorous daily use or those with darker skin tones!This is a 100% mineral sunscreen, unlike some of CeraVe’s other options. When you apply a “sufficient” amount according to guides, it looks VERY white – you can clearly tell you are wearing sunscreen. If you use less or rub it in (off) to make it blend, you are not as protected from the sun and will end up getting tanned (or sunburn, depending on likely you are to be used as a beacon to Gondor). It is also not waterproof for water activities or heavy sweating – granted, it doesn’t say that it is, I just assumed since most mineral sunscreens are these days. It does come off with soap and water, but I found it a little drying and needed more moisturizer and lotion than I expected. (Could also have been the fact that I got a tan through it.) I will use this up during my summer sport anyway when “the sunscreen look” is expected, but I am a little disappointed as I was excited to try a sunscreen from CeraVe – I’ve loved all their other products. Next year I will likely go back to MDSolarSciences Mineral Moisture Defense SPF 50, which is the best I’ve found so far.

    Great Tinted Face Sunscreen
    This tinted face sunscreen provides excellent protection while giving my skin a natural, even tone. It’s lightweight, blends easily, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. Perfect for daily use and a great way to protect and even out my complexion!

    Este protector solar de CeraVe me deja la cara blanquísima como si fuera maquillaje, quizá para chicas que se maquillan está bien, pero para chicos o chicas que no quieren que le protector solar no les deje la cara blanca no lo recomiendo. Se seca rapídisimo y no tiene aceite (que era lo que estaba buscando) pero te colorea todo el rostro.

    Peut etre que le produit est bon mais quand on le met on devien blanc comme un clown il faut bien masser pour estomper la couleur

    I was hesitant to purchase this one due to comment reading, and now I only regret not buying earlier!!!! What a perfect product! Not sticky, matte finish, not drying my face, super lightweight after a glimpse of time of application. My skin feels great not only on my face but also on my neck – where I usually don’t feel well upon sunscreen application. Furthermore, where is the white cast???? I’m shocked to see that my half face with this product had no visible differently compared to the other bare face or after applying a tinted sunscreen that is darker than my skin tone. In summary, it is a perfect mineral sunscreen for daily use as it is not water resistant, which can be easily take off by water. It is probably one of the best mineral sunscreen I can get in Germany. One huge plus of 100% mineral sunscreen in general is that it should not cause yellow stains on white clothes.
