   My son had eczema and allergies. He cannot tolerate the lotions with fragrance, even a little. My son’s doctor for allergies recommended this product for me and I’ve been using ever since.Pros: Very easy to apply, fragrance free, the bottle lasts long. Comfortable for kids and also our hands.Cons: since this is lotion this won’t last the whole day. If you want the moisture to last longer you would need the cream instead of the lotion.Overall, recommended.

   this lotion saved my newborn daughters dry skin. during the winter time her skin got dry from the house heater but once i applied this lotion her skin began to heal. the lotion is effective if used a few times a day. it repairs the skin without it feeling too oily

   Lighter than Aveeno Baby lotion
   I have used the Aveeno Baby Daily Moisturizing Lotion on my kid for the last 5 years, but decided to give this CeraVe one a try due to the good reviews. This CeraVe lotion has a much lighter feel than the Aveeno; while it is easier to spread, I find myself having to apply a bit more of it on my son to really get that saturated/plumped-up skin effect. I think this would be a good summertime lotion, while the Aveeno one would probably be better during winter.I do like the rectangular shape of the CeraVe bottle better than the Aveeno one since it seems more compact and sturdy with the wider base. I can more easily dispense the product with one hand from the CeraVe bottle, whereas with the Aveeno, when it gets near to the bottom of the bottle I find that it can topple over if I am not mindful of the way I push the pump down.Both brands have lockable pumps, but I appreciate that the pump on the CeraVe one points forward when in the unlocked position. The Aveeno one doesn’t.
