    Gentle retinol, but still effective!
    I really like this product since tretenoin was too harsh for my skin. I only use as needed probably less than once a week. but i especially like to use it when i notice my skin becoming congested/break out starting and during the winter since we’re not in the sun as often so it’s safer. Literally by the next morning, it seems to stop breakout in its tracks. I see some reviews had some bad eye reactions and I just want to say be careful with using retinol in the under eye area. You “can” but you probably want to avoid it, the under eye skin area is very delicate and much thinner than the rest of our face. In fact you will find most retinol products telling you to avoid the eye area on the package…unless it’s sold as an eye cream. Just a tip!And if you’re peeling a lot from this, you’re probably using it too often and or not moisturizing enough. Like I said I only use this once every other week, which is to avoid irritation/peeling. Also, I noticed the info says you can use this in the day with spf, which is surprising because dermatologists would tell you to only use retinol before bed at night. This is because it is both safer (retinol makes your skin sensitive to uv rays) and just convenient (your skin “heals” overnight, working alongside the retinol). Also, not to invalidate some of the ladies who shared their photos of their reactions but if you have very smooth skin, hardly visible pores with no signs whatsoever of aging and you’re not prone to breakouts, you really don’t need to use retinol and probably shouldn’t because it can damage the skin barrier with long term use or if you don’t moisturize enough, so ladies who CAN benefit from retinol are using it because the reward of that is greater than the risk of the skin barrier issue…no offense but I do think people should read about these “heavier” chemical skincare treatments before just buying… But luckily this product is a much gentler version of prescribed retinol. I really love this product in moderation. Just one use at night and the next morning I definitely notice a difference! Thanks for reading 🙂

    Beside the Smell Amazing
    I’m not joking you when I say this little thing has some might. The first time I used it I couldn’t believe how soft my skin was the next morning, baby bottom soft. I got it to take a break from prescription tretinoin during the summer, give my skin a summer break;) because my skin gets a little more sensitive and dry when I use tretinoin for a prolonged period of time and though this is not as strong as tretinoin, it’s very moisturizing and lightly exfoliating my skin without the dryness and patchiness. I love, love, love it but I hate the smell. The only way I can describe it as it smells like onions to me. It has that kind of pungent smell, first time I used it I thought it’s gone bad but I tell that the benefits outweigh the smell. Totally worth it. I bought a second one as I’m almost done with the first and it’s dropped in price by $7 so I’m happy about that. Some people mentioned that it’s very small but I only use a pea size and it lasts me over a month if used everyday which is pretty good deal to me. I highly recommend for anyone with sensitive skin and as a great substitute for tretinoin or just a substitute for when your skin needs a little break from harsh retinoids. Btw, I keep mine in the fridge to preserve the potency.

    Creamy and hydrating
    This cream is very smooth and creamy and definitely hydrates. I haven’t noticed a change in lines but haven’t used very long. It dries nicely and doesn’t leave a residue. No smell and hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin. Worth a try.

    I used it once and saw results the first morning
    I love this cream because I used a pea sized amount on each side of my face and it worked well!Very lightweight and no sticky feeling. My skin looks hydrated and less laugh lines!!!

    Perfect for acne prone skin
    Important to Note: Retinol will turn rancid if you don’t store it in the fridge. If yours has a smell like onions or garlic that means it has turned rancid. It needs to be stored in the refrigerator at all times after piercing the safety seal. If you read the instruction sheet this item comes with it says to keep it refrigerated to prevent rancidity.Retinol is a good ingredient but difficult to find in a lotion like this. It’s usually found in an oil like squalane which breaks my face out so bad. It’s a terrible idea to apply oil to acne prone skin. This stuff is like a lotion and it’s in a metal tube that keeps air and light out. Light-weight, but not moisturizing as it’s not supposed to be. You’ll want to put a layer of lotion on after this, like the Cosrx Ultra Hyaluronic Cream or CeraVe ceramide cream. Most importantly, this is the only retinol product I’ve ever found that doesn’t break my face out. In fact, after just one day of using this my skin was more clear. After 3 weeks of using once daily, my skin looks a lot brighter, more youthful, and healthier, with fine lines diminished. I still have more than half the tube left too so it lasts a long time. I use it all over my face and neck, and a little goes a long way. You may not be able to jump straight to using it everyday like I did and you’d be better off with using it once every 3 days, then every 2 days, and so forth until you can work up to using it everyday. Retinol will turn rancid if you don’t store it in the fridge so be sure to do that. Just don’t forget it’s in there, stay diligent, and commit to it and you’ll see results.

    Hydrating and Effective, great price!
    I absolutely love COSRX products! The snail mucin is a bit weird, but it’s incredibly hydrating and works wonderfully when I add peptides to my DIY serums. I also use this eye cream to add peptides….it’s fantastic. The eye cream is very hydrating, extremely mild with retinol already included, and works great for my under-eye area. Highly recommend this eye cream—the price is fantastic for the quality!

    Mejor tolerancia con respecto a otros retinoles, olor agradable, si tu producto tiene aroma agrio deséchalo es por que se oxidó, a veces pasa al cerrarlo mal. Es muy bueno con los puntos negros y arrugas finas las difumina, es lento pero seguro, pero no te confíes no abuses de la cantidad o te vas irritar, es mi retinol de verano, eso si un filtro solar , te recomiendo los de barra, para que te lo apliques constantemente.

    My first retinol product, been using for a week now, storing in a cool place, no break outs so far.Patiently waiting to see the results which I’m positive about considering I have started seeing some glow from a distance
