Love this stuff…
This product will not stop hair loss although it may say so. This just conditions your hair to be more elastic and smooth. Lessen the breakage of hair…it also makes hair appear slightly darker in colour. Who knows why hair falls out. Hereditary issues, vitamin deficiency, hormones and my favourite !!!STRESS!!!.Im indo guyanese with wavy frizzy hair naturally. This works to tame my hair…you oil the hair thoroughly top to bottom. Leave on 1hr to overnight. I leave for 3-4hrs and wash my scalp well with a really cleansing shampoo and condition as usual. I noticed people complaining about the scent. Its a medicinal oil smell, indian gooseberries…i dont think its that bad…for me it works. I havent cut or trimmed my hair in over 2 years and it doesnt have split ends or looks dried out. I think for anything to work you need consistency…. I wash and oil my hair 2x a week in the summer/ sweaty months and 1x a week in the colder months. If anyones interested in other indian hair oils…Ill break them down for youVakita Cactus oil smells amazing and it heavy weight its meant to be used before shampooing. But you can use a few drops on dry hair to tame.Vatika Black seed oil smells great and can used as a leave in after your hair is dry to tame frizziesVatika Garlic oil smells sooo good like lemon and rosemary , heavy weighted and can be used before shampooing. And after a few drops on dry to fight the frizzies.Mahabhringraj hair oil is a medicinal oil you use only on the scalp to help with dandruff. You must wash it out.Navratna oil is for cooling and tingling of the scalp..meant to help with waking up the scalp. Must be washed out.Ive used all these oils and they all have their benefits. You can mix them as you like. I use mahabhringraj oil on my scalp for dandruff and the rest of the hair gets amla, garlic, cactus depending on my mood…Im going to tell you the best indian hair advice I know to growing out your hair….oil it faithfully & always keep your hair secured …like in a bun with spiral bobby pins or an octopus clip or a braid with no tangle bands. It shouldnt be too tight, but firm. Its keeps hair from snarling and breaking. I know its not superstylish but it really does save your hair especially if your going to grow it out to your mid back or to a longer length and beyond . And when you do wear it out on occasion all the girls and boys will envy your soft gorgeous long hair…Ps in the pic my hair is oiled and awaiting its shampooing plus i like this pose reminds me of a troll doll.

Smells like baby powder-not bad smelling!
I can’t say for sure if I Like it yet, because I just used it for the first time. I really wanted to write a review regarding the “smell”. I almost didn’t buy it because of the other reviews complained about it. It literally smells like baby powder. I have plenty of other oils that have strong smells. This is not one. If you don’t mind the smell of baby powder, your good with this!

For strong and smoother hair
I love the hint smell of this oil. My hair doesn’t look too sticky like other oils when I use this. I have been using this one or twice a week and my hair has grown smoother, looks shinier and I have noticed less hair loss. Would highly recommend this.

My holy grail
I started using this about 3 years ago, my hair used to be extremely damaged and as someone that has naturally curly hair and straightens a lot I needed something that would help with heat damage and also something that would help my hair grow. This hair oil has been my go to every time. Compared to coconut oil this is so much better and itâs worked so good on me. I used to buy expensive products like olaplex, vegamour products, and other expensive products but honestly i believe now that using more natural ingredients for your hair is better. I also recently started using a different shampoo and i like it way more then the $80 shampoo i was using. this is worth your gold coins, get it!

1st use
I will update after 12 weeks of using 3x a week! After 1st application I can say it is very greasy, as expected and the smell is not favorable. If it works I will tolerate the smell. I left it on overnight. Directions say to leave in your hair at least an hour.

BEST FOR DRY LOW POROSITY HAIR
Iâm absolutely floored by this oil. I have type 3c/4a hair and majority of my life my hair has been recovering from a perm, dry, brittle, broken and heat damaged. I big chopped in 2017-2018 and eventually achieved longer, thicker, luscious and primarily healthy hair (i box dyed it to a lighter color in 2018 and 2019).Unfortunately, I started working at a fancy job and decided to straighten it for 6 months without properly caring for it. Afterwards, I traveled the entire summer in heat, still straightening it, and eventually fried it. It started falling out more, thinning, breaking easier. It really scared me so I cut it. All the color out all the damage. Once again, started straightening it and damaged it some more. At that point I decided to just chop all the damaged hair out no matter the length and now itâs thin, see through and limp on the left side and thick, curly and healthy on the right. With one more silk press my hair has become its utmost driest and weakest. So, this is me restarting on my hair and itâs proper maintenance again. I went from mid back length to above shoulder length hair. Iâve been struggling to find a way to keep it moisturized and this oil was a REAL game changer. Iâm mixed; Samoan, Black and White so my hair texture has always been extremely dense at the roots, thin at the ends, dry and itchy (especially without proper moisture and maintenance). However, using this oil in my hot oil treatment it absorbed so quick and easy. I heated up the oil for about 20mins and sprayed rice water on my hair before applying the AMLA oil. My hair ate it right up. Iâm now sitting under my heated cap 20 mins later writing this review. I have high hopes for the turn out after iâve washed my hair and can already tell itâs going to be so soft and moisturized (of course with proper maintenance and styling). Also I love the smell, it smells great to me idk what everyoneâs talking about lol. It is very potent though, so if youâre not used to potent spices or smells this can be intense. If you have low porosity hair make sure to DAMPEN your hair before applying and massaging otherwise itâs just going to feel greasy and dry. Make sure the oil is hot too, make sure your hands are warm, make sure everything is heated but not too hot. The products sink into your hair like butter.Highly recommend this oil. Now thinking of using other products recommended by them to use in their hair care routine.
