Very impressed with this Eczema Honey Eye Cream
I’ve been using this product for a little over three weeks now.I noticed an improvement in the skin around my eyes after just one week.I, too, experienced the burning sensation/irritation, which didn’t surprise me. Not only do I have highly sensitive skin, but any time I change products, I experience an uncomfortable reaction many (but not all) times. To give some background– I suffer from eczema which typically presents on my elbows, but started appearing on certain areas of my scalp as well. Changes in diet and personal-care products, or the weather will trigger a flare-up.Experiencing that dry, flaky skin, especially on the hairline can be extremely annoying and embarrassing, so I’ve had to use steroid solutions or creams to manage the flare-ups.After using a particular hair dye in April last year, I started noticing eye issues. Highly itchy eyelids, flaky/dry skin, and alarming swelling. Turns out I developed blepharitis, which can affect anyone, at any age, and for different reasons. Mine was associated with a specific ingredient in the hair dye. Here commenced a journey of needing to use eye compresses, OcuSoft cleanser, Pataday eyedrops, and multiple products to keep the lids moisturized and prevent the skin from cracking, which was quite painful. I also had eye bags and dark circles.I decided to try this cream based on reviews, but was skeptical, after using pricier products that I had to stop using since they had fragrance, which you don’t want to use when you have blepharitis.I was also stunned that such a small container costs so much.I do agree with those who say the cost isn’t justified for the amount/size, also given that it looks like they could have added more product in that small jar. That being said, the product does exactly what it says. It’s highly moisturizing, has a pleasant and light scent, and started healing my skin within a week. The dark circles are barely visible, but I’m still dealing with the bags due to poor sleeping habits. My skin is no longer cracking, which can happen if you use the cloth version of OcuSoft, as opposed to the foam. My skin is very soft, supple, and healing beautifully.Give it a try because a little goes a long way, and I can see myself still having enough of this product a month or two after purchasing it.This will definitely be a repurchase.

Something finally worked!
I bought 3 different creams I could use on my eyelid. This was the only one that worked. I used it consistently every morning and night and within a few weeks, my eyes were clear. They stopped itching, and arenât flaky anymore.

Non-irritating and improves dryness
I have been using a few different eye creams for a while and started to notice the outside corners of my eyes were getting red splotches. I don’t have rosacea, and assumed this was something to do with aging. I tried a few more creams to see if I was just using some that irritated my skin, but no improvements. I was getting desperate and considering buying some fancy $100 eye cream to save my poor eyes since I’m only 29 and too vain to ignore the issue. Then I did some research and saw that the red patches could be due to eczema. I have eczema, but it has only been a problem on my hands, and I haven’t had a breakout in over a year, so did not initially think that was the issue. I found this cream and figured I would give it a try to rule out the possibility. It has improved the redness around my eyes – it went away. I have very sensitive skin, and it does not irritate my eyes. It says you can put on your eyelids. I’ve found that putting any cream on my eyelids even if marked safe for it still irritates me, so I don’t do that. But under my eyes and on the side is fine. I am inpatient and started looking for other creams to address fine lines under my eyes after only using this for maybe a week or less lol. However, this one seems most effective for that so I am mostly just using this eye cream alone day and night these days. It has been several weeks, close to a month. Very glad I found this gentle, effective cream before dropping a ton of money on something that likely would not have addressed my concerns (since it seems at least part of the issue is my eczema). Would recommend this product and will probably by more.

Donât expect a full jar of product
Buyer beware! I just received this and like another reviewer, received a 1/4 jar of product?!?!?!? Hence the one star. I could see to the bottom of the jar (see pic). Itâs not like the lotion is stuck to one side, itâs literally filled that way. I know this isnât terribly expensive but this is totally unacceptable and itâs a very small container to begin with. I canât return it because I opened it. I will try it since I purchased it due to a very stubborn dry patch under my eye from an allergic reaction. If I am happy with this product, Iâll change my review, but at least fill the product to the top of the jar!! See pic

Burns a bit upon application
This is a nice, thick cream, but if you have an eczema flareup on your face/eyelids, it might burn. Overall, it does help with keeping flareups moisturized. Just not as much as I had hoped. Not sure I would pay the price for it again.

Great product but arrived half empty
This is great on the eczema around my eyes so far. It feels moisturizing and calming. However, I was surprised to see it arrived with not a lot of product in it. It looked about half empty and you could see all the way to the bottom. I’d probably just buy this from Ulta or something next time to make sure I’m getting the right quality.

Contains Phenoxyethanol and Chlorhexidine Digluconate
If you are sensitive to this, you should probably skip all products with Phenoxyethanol and Chlorhexidine Digluconate. One is a preservative known to irritate and the other is an antimicrobial that is particularly toxic in higher doses. If these ingredients do not bother you, this eye cream is great. Hydrates and depuffs instantly.
