   Gentle retinol product!
   This retinol product is very gentle. It worked well with my sensitive skin. I did not experience any irritation. It is lightweight, non fragrance and it absorbed quickly. No greasy residue. After I used for a bit, I did notice improvement with some of the fine lines and skin appeared smoother. A little goes a long way. Pairs well with the their moisturizer. I made sure to use SPF with it in the morning.

   Smooth Sailing Indeed!!!
   I was excited to try Eight Saints Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum after my success with other Eight Saints products that I’ve purchased. I can confidently say it’s the best retinol serum I’ve used.This serum has done wonders for my skin, noticeably reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots. My skin tone has evened out, and my pores look smaller. Thanks to the hyaluronic acid, my skin stays hydrated and plump, even though I use the product 3-4 times a week before bed (after I have washed my face and let it thoroughly dry). The serum spreads evenly and glides on–it’s not sticky. Unlike other serums that I have used in the past, Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum has not irritated my skin at all.I also love that it contains green tea, which helps calm any irritation or redness. It works well with all skin types, and I’ve personally had no dryness, a common issue with retinol. My skin has been clearer and smoother since I started using it, and I’m so glad I made this purchase. I’m also considering trying their other new retinol product!If you’re looking for an effective, gentle retinol serum, I highly recommend this one from Eight Saints.

   Good for beginners
   I’ve tried a few of Eight Saint’s products and liked them a lot. They are solid. So when there was a good deal, I decided to give a try to this retinol serum.I liked the consistency – not too watery but also not too thick or sticky. Absorbs well and leaves your skin very smooth. Very gentle on your skin, neutral scent. Very nice, natural ingredients.That said, I didn’t see any major improvement in my skin. I used it for a week. But I’m 52 years old so my skin needs a good “punch”. This makes me think that this product is not very strong and best for beginners or those with sensitive skin.And that’s the thing: it’s not clear what’s the concentration of retinol in this product. The package says nothing about it. Retinoids usually come in different strengths and that’s how you know where to start and how to proceed.Also, the package says to use this serum “during day only” (retinoids usually are recommended as a night time treatment) and even suggests using it in combination with Eight Saint’s retinol cream, which again suggests that both of these products are most likely low strength and more suitable to younger and/or beginner users.

   You see results quickly! You will love it! Helps you achieve that natural glow!
   Loved the texture, no weird smell, I only have to use a small amount! My skin brightness has improved in a short period of time, my sun spots and fine lines are diminishing. I have used quite a few very expensive retinol products. None of them have also hydrated my skin as well as eliminating that dull top layer of dead skin.Now that summer is over I feel safer using a retinol because I will not be in the sun as much. I want to start to repair all that summer damage and get rid of the dull, out in the sun, sunscreen all day and have a fresh, hydrated look. This product is helping me with that. I love it and it has been a great addition to the Eeight saints skin care routine I already have. This is a quality product and will last at least a few months, I just use it at night. I also posted a pice of the other products I use daily!
