I JUST RECEIVED and TRIED IT! IT DOES WORK!
For decades I had been paying someone to relax and take care of my hair because as a teacher, I was always in the public’s eye, and felt that I looked better with relaxed hair. Lots of money over the years. Enters COVID-19; on July 20, 2021, my hairdresser cancels my appointment under the suspicion that she had contracted the virus. I thought to myself: ‘this is a great time to go natural and save me some money!’. It will be three years in July that I have gone natural, but I still don’t know how to take care of my 3 something, 4 something low porosity hair. My hair is soft under that mixture hair type just mentioned but it is very dry; I acknowledge that this is totally my fault because I should be moisturizing it every week, but for one reason or another, I don’t. Last year on July 13, I went to a salon for the first time since July 2021 and got a big chop on my shoulder length hair, because it tangled so easily, and I no longer wanted to deal with it. Got some temporarily relief while my hair was short, but as the hair begun to grow, the tangling problem persisted, leading me to REGRET very much my decision to have it chopped, realizing that all I needed was a good detangling cream and some unrushed time loving and taking care of my hair. I probably have bought about 17 different kinds of wet brushes in the attempt to get my hair detangled, but none of them work. Enters UNBRUSHED! I literally just received my Amazon order now and ran to the bathroom to try it on my almost shoulder length (again) hair. Tried a portion of the dry hair on the back but couldn’t tell much of a difference, although the brush went through smoothly but pulled a bit of hair. I used a water bottle to spray my hair a little bit and, VOILA! It worked like magic! I started on the ends, and eventually moved toward the roots slowly. It did a great job detangling my hair. Yes, there was some hair on the brush still, (I guess that is normal), but nothing compared to the amount of hair that usually comes out from breaking when I use the wide tooth comb. I feel that this brush will first help me to take better care of my hair (often I just don’t want to deal with it, and let my hair go without doing anything to it for days, which makes it dry and tangled), but also it will cause less breakage and help with the growth. I am super pumped to take care of my hair now. I just braided it and will keep it like that if I don’t need to go out of the house. I LOVE THIS BRUSH and highly recommend it to anyone who struggles with dry or easily tangled hair. JUST BE GENTLE WITH YOUR HAIR, and this brush will work with you!

The only detangling brush you need
This brush is the truth. I have thick type 4 hair and on wash days I’m excited to detangle with this brush from how amazing it is. Pain free, actually works and truly the best brush in the market.

    Amazing brush
I thought it was too expensive for a brush, but it worth every penny. I came back to buy again after losing the first one and decided to share how accurate the review was. I bought it because of the reviews and if you have kids get it , my kids want me to use this brush all the time and no more crying and grumpy kid.

It works on straight, curly, and kinky hair. 8.5/10
I have a mix of 2c – 3b curls, and I often straighten my hair with a blow dryer. It is thick and difficult to detangle. My youngest has thick 4a, 4b hair. My eldest has thick 4c hair. Their hair is very difficult to detangle. It works on all of our hair, and it works on my straightened hair.I use Denman brushes, the flexi detangling brush (that’s the one that’s a series of combs made into a brush), and various others meant for curly and kinky hair detangling. This seems to be much more gentle than any of those. However, it does work better with wet hair, and you should use plenty of conditioner while brushing (more than you’d usually use, but not too much). Also, be sure you’re brushing from underneath, and not just the top, or you’ll miss some tangles and create matting. It’s important to gently brush from the tips or middle of the hair up to the roots, and not rake the brush roughly through the hair from the roots down. I was horrified, watching another reviewer ripping and yanking the brush through their poor child’s hair and complaining it was the brush. No, dear. That is poor technique, and you’re damaging your child’s hair. Brushes aren’t miracle workers. You still have to use some effort, patience, and gentleness, especially when working with children. And I have two kids with sensory issues, so I must be even more careful than that. That said, there can be some tugging, and so it isn’t totally painless. No brush is, especially if the hair isn’t brushed daily. But this is the closest I’ve gotten yet, after 20+ years of doing my own hair, and 15+ years of doing kids’ hair.I haven’t noticed a lot of shedding, or even an increase. The brush is easy to hold, and it didn’t slip from my grip much, even with conditioner on my hands. All in all, I say give it a try. Just use it patiently and gently, and try it out on your wet and dry hair to see what works best for you.Tips: Damaged hair tangles more easily and is harder to detangle, so be patient and use more product as needed. Adjust your technique, and brush from the tips up instead of the root down. If you’re dealing with dry and damaged hair, if you don’t brush the hair daily (or at least every other day), don’t expect it to “go through like butter.”

    Best hairbrush Ever!!
Never in my lifetime have I ever heard of a Unibrush! But I was curious and as I read numerous reviews -/ I ordered one. Man oh man what a good strong brush!! My tangles were gone!! No pain no pulling not even clumps of hair like before! Amazing!!! It works on straight and wavy hair and even thick curly hair. This is a. miracle. After a shower no problem after sleeping all night – I can get up and brush my usually full of tangled hair — so very easily this is the best brush that I have ever bought!! I can see young children n old people and teens n adults all using this and feeling just as happy as I am brushing their hair with this marvelous Unibrush. Oh yeah and I’m ordered a couple more as gifts 🎁 and I need an extra one also. I chose the blue color and the bristles just glide through my hair. Try it folks and you’ll see what I’m talking about. If you got long hair just section it off and be gentle and in no time it’s tangle free my thanks to the creators!❤️❤️✅🙏✅😍

Using this brush gave me the easiest detangling session I’ve had in a long time. 4b hair for reference! I found using this while detangling with conditioner and wet hair was easier for me. The brush is easy to clean and also great for combing wigs! I did not experience any pain.

  9. Donna Maclam

Love this brush, best ever used for curly hair and also works great as a dog brush, I have more than one!

  10. Tara

Absolutely love this brush! Having super long hair, most brushes pull and get snagged in it. This is the only brush I use now! Knots are not an issue anymore and it helps cut down on drying time!
