    Works really well!
I was hesitant this would work. I thought, it’ll get hot in certain spots and not the others, or it won’t heat up at all type of thoughts. Especially after reading some reviews. So I took a chance.I want to leave a very detailed review because that’s what I look for when I want to purchase something and I want to hear every detail.* When I was shampooing I also tried out one of those rechargeable head massagers. Awesome!! Just wanted to make sure my scalp was fully ready for this salon like experience * How long people want this to be it’s pretty damn long for meThe court is pretty darn long. I don’t know how long some expected to be but I could definitely sit on my couch and plug this in and use it. And if you plan on walking in the room, then get an extension cord lol but I was able to pace around a little strip of my patio, and I did not feel like it restricted me at all.The back string to make the bonnet tighter is a little tricky, but I find if I tighten it Before I put it on, it works well. It just slides right over my cap that I put on before. I didn’t clip my hair up because I wasn’t sure if the plastic clips would melt or warp and no metal clips for heat reasons. My hair is about 2-3 inches above mid back so I plopped it on my head. I didn’t care if it fell (didn’t fall) I just wanted all hair in there.I started off right at 8 then I thought I’ll up it the top, level 10. After a few minutes, I soon realized that my ears needed to come out. Makes your ears heat up, so I just kind of flipped them outside the cap and readjusted. They look weird sticking out but it’s better than them getting hot . They didn’t burn or anything just hot and made the tops of em red. Level 10 is not extremely hot. I don’t want it to be extremely hot because then I’ll do damage to my hair and my scalp, etc. so level 10 is a good heat choice if you want deep conditioning and if it cold and you want to sit outside or for people with thick or a lot of hair. . I sit outside to do mine , and it’s winter right now so it’s perfect. When it gets warmer, I probably will turn it anywhere from a 4-8 maybe just depending on the temperature outside. I used a clear shower cap underneath. I may try a foil one next. It heats up perfectly even heat distribution all the way around.I set it for half an hour. I didn’t keep track of the time to see 1/2 an hour would be up to make sure the cap actually worked like it was supposed to. It did shut off automatically. Also, no no.drips out of the cap. Like when the moisture starts seeping out and down your neck and forehead? Nope. Nothing.I waited a bit for it to cool down before I removed the cap. I loosened the back strap and it came off without taking my clear cap. Then I let my hair cool for about 5 minutes so my hair would get to room temperature and the hair follicles will close and seal the deal.I used a regular mask. Any one will do. I rinsed my hair and oh my what is this silkiness? My scalp felt invigorated. It’s like the heat with the mask built a shield.I plan on keeping this as long as it’ll have me and use it at least once a week. Try different masks for fun. Some say it stopped working so I’ll update if this happens. Only used it once to fingers crossed!Anyone who is on the fence I say do it. You can always return it if you don’t like it but I absolutely love this from my long, on the thicker side, thick hair.

Best one from Amazon, NEED for damaged hair
It’s made of really great quality. The outside is silky, the inside is lined and I believe you can remove the inner lining to wash. It came with three disposable plastic hair wraps and a storage bag. I like that it has a timer on it and 10 different heat settings. I previously bought a cheaper one from Amazon and I do believe this one is worth the money. I haven’t tried using a hair mask/oil without the heat cap to compare the results, but I know a hair mask alone can’t make my hair this soft and shiny just after two weeks of bleaching my entire head. Typically I’ll use olaplex no. 0 with the no.3 process followed right after and I don’t think it’s the same. My hair is much softer and smoother using this with the palmers olive oil deep conditioning pack, because olive oil is great for repairing damaged hair and adding smoothness to it. I paired it with the kitsch foil hair wrap too in order to boost the heat retention for 30 minutes. You need this if you want to nurse your hair back to health & to avoid bad hair days aka dry, damaged looking hair. It’s known for hair to retain the oils better when under heat. Trimming would also help if your ends are really damaged! Try it and you’ll thank me later.

Perfect Steamer for 4B Hair with Adjustable Heat Levels
I recently ordered the Hair Steamer for Natural Hair Home Use with 10-level Heat Cap, and it has been amazing for my 4B hair. It come with a direction card and a couple of shower caps. I love that there are different heating levels and that it heats up quickly, making it perfect for my monthly deep conditioning sessions. The steamer also comes with a storage bag where the heating cap folds neatly inside, without any issues. I’m looking forward to this lasting for years. Overall, it’s a great product and well worth the price!

    So far so good
I love that you can take it out to wash in the washer. The adjustable option is kind of a joke and doesn’t tighten that much. I’m also not 100% sure whether it is heating up evenly, but I’ve only used it once so far. It’s quite and I don’t mind using it compared to a loud dryer used at a salon. It gets the job done, my hair felt amazing after.

    Love it !
I’m so glad I purchased this hair steamer. I was having a bit of trouble with my daughter’s hair. She has a lot of thick-course hair. Her hair wasn’t retaining products because it was constantly dry. So I can say since I have been using the steamer on her hair I’ve noticed a big difference. Her hair is a lot more softer and more manageable to comb through. It fits on both of our heads perfectly, the pink is very cute and girly also very shiny. I love that it has different functional time settings as you can see in the video the 1 – 10 heating setting and then 3 settings for times you want it to heat. Its very easy and lightweight to travel with so if you plan on taking it with you on a road trip or a flight it’s durable.

This is not a hair steamer
This is a heating cap, good for warming product on the head. It is sturdy. I like the bag it comes in. I like how you can adjust the time and temp of your treatment. The cord length is pretty fair. I love it. However, it is not a steamer.

  7. Dunall

    Efficient, versatile item
Very easy to use. I like the fact that it’s versatile, i.e. it can steam, dry my hair, and set my style, … an all-in-one investment. Also, my ears don’t get burnt (as with my previous steamer cap), and it’s roomy enough to hold my thick, natural hair for steaming.

Me gustó mucho este producto ya que cumple con los requisitos que estaba buscando para la aplicación de mi tratamiento capilar. Es muy práctico el que se pueda variar la temperatura.

Game changer for low porosity hair.
