    Functional and a great price.
This laser hair removal device seemed a bit complicated at first since it was my first time trying something like this. However, after reading the manual, which provides clear instructions, it became much easier to use.The box comes with the laser hair removal device, cables, a razor and protective glasses. The device doesn’t have a battery, so it needs to be plugged in all the time to be used. However, the cables are pretty long. There are 5 different intensity levels. It is advised to start with the lower level. The manual contains a skin type chart, to help identify your skin tone for better results. It is necessary to shave the area to be applied first. Then you press the on button for 2 seconds, put the glasses on, for safety reasons, than press the flash button. If the device is not in contact with the skin, the devive will not emit the flash.I tried it on my face and felt no pain whatsoever. The fan is a bit noisy, but since this is my first laser hair removal device, I am not sure if this is the normal. This device will emit 400,000 flashes, which essentially represents the device’s lifespan. This device emits waveslenghts between 560nm and 1200nm, which is the same as a famous brand of a laser hair removal device for a fraction of the price. The one with the number 10 in the name. The treatment time varies. It is advised to use once every two weeks for the first 3 times of use.It will take about couple of months to start seeing results.I am satisfied with this device performance so far, hopefully the results will be positive as well.

    So far, so good
I am newer to at home laser hair removal devices, but so far I am impressed when compared to professional experiences. I have very sensitive skin and while this is a pain free hair removal treatment, it does get slightly irritated so the cooling feature is very useful for me and helps a lot. This is a complete kit and comes with everything you need to get started. Be aware though that this is not an instant result process and will take several applications over a series of weeks before you see real results. It takes time, but it does work. It is important that you follow to directions it comes with and test a small area before you begin. The device is comfortable to use, isn’t too heavy at all for prolonged sessions, and is easy to use. Only slight issue I had was hitting a button near the handle I didn’t mean to hit, but it’s just in an unnatural spot. I appreciate that this kit comes complete, I didn’t have to purchase anything else to get started. Now that I’ve been using it a few weeks I can say I am noticing a huge improvement in the reduction of hair growth and am confident this device works!

  3. Honest Professional Reviews

Solid IPL with ICE cooling and beefy power supply (64.8W) at a budget price. Grey color.
There are a lot of options for IPL hair removal devices on Amazon at this point. Having reviewed a huge number of these, I have a very good grasp of the segment, and of how these devices differ. Bottom line: Most of them are very similar, and very average. They work OK, but there isn’t a lot differentating them (outside of shape, color and button placement), and most appear to be made in the same factories. There are a few important features that do differentiate these IPL devices in a meaningful manner:** How powerful is the IPL device (inferred from power supply)** Does the IPL device offer “ICE” epidermal cooling** Does the IPL include additional filters for different purposesThis is a budget priced IPL, but adds decent ICE cooling and a very beefy power supply (64.8W).Using very slow-motion photography, I was able to capture a snapshot of the light (see photos). But the light duration is extremely short. You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will not see any immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas. In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, a pair of eye protection glasses, plus instructions. This tool is rated for 400,000 flashes, which should more than cover your interest in using it.A word about the “ice” functionality: It’s local cooling of the epidermal region (surface skin) in the region where the IPL light pulse is being applied. The high powered light can be irritating to some people, and cooling the skin in that region can reduce the immediate irritation. (It does not improve/decrease efficacy of the treatment). Epidermal cooling is not required for efficient use, but it may make it less unpleasant to use the device for some users. There are supposedly “HR” and “SR” modes included, with HR = Hair Removal and SR = Skin Rejuvination. But as far as I can tell, these are really just names applied to the power level. Levels 1-2 are attached to SR. If you bump the power to levels 3-5, it switches to HR.This IPL flashes twice when you press the trigger. A low intensity flash followed quickly by a more intense one. The power is more than sufficient, with a 64.8W power supply–at the high end of what you will typically find with an IPL, and better than you would usually find with an IPL in this price range. My only serious complaint, given the price, is that the power and mode buttons are placed where your fingers would normally rest while you are using it, and may be easy to accidentally press. (See photos).Pros:** ICE cooling** 64.8W power supply** LCD readout** Very attractively priced for a higher power IPL with ICE** Prefeable gun shapeCons:** The mode/power buttons are placed where it may be easy to accidentally push them when using the gun.Note that this same IPL is sold in various colors in various listings.

  4. Customer Review

Takes consistency over time, but it works
This review is for the Herbishh IPL Laser Hair Removal Device, in gray.First off, read the instructions. Read the instructions thoroughly. If you don’t, you’ll waste a lot of time and possibly even damage your skin.Having said that, it seems to be working as expected. The areas being treated are progressing as expected, and basically, everything seems to be working so far. Do note that this is not an instant fix to any unwanted hair problems; just be consistent with it and it will start to work slowly over time. Now, another warning: This things is extremely bright, to the point where it’s painfully bright even through closed eyelids; there is a reason a set of sunglasses was included.
