   Easy setup
   First impressions, just received diffuser. Well made and sleek looking, I bought the black. Fairly heavy so no way it’s going to fall over unless you knock it over. It has controls on the base of the unit and also a remote which is a nice option.It remembered my previous setting when turned back on. Love the fact it has a timer 1,2, 4 and 8 hrs and it worked. Set it for 2 hours and it turned off precisely in 2 hrs. Numerous scent levels and at level 3 it filled 3 large rooms with the scent. Very quiet.This is not a negative but something to get used to, control lights on base of unit turns off in one minute. Don’t know if it’s on or off unless you smell something or go over and check. The bottle neck that comes with the diffuser and their brand fragrance oils are larger than other brand diffusers where it screws in. I was hoping to use a bottle from another company and couldn’t, not a game changer. Just need to pour the oils into their size empty bottle. That said I would love to hear if anyone has used a diffuser oil from another brand without harming the machine. So far their scent fragrances are limited.

   Wasted Money: Doesn’t Deliver on Its Promises
   I was really disappointed with the Homedics SereneScent Waterless Home Fragrance Diffuser. Although the idea of a waterless diffuser with patented air diffusion technology seemed promising, the product didn’t live up to my expectations. First off, the fragrance output was incredibly weak, even though I was using it in a relatively small room. Despite the claim that it’s suitable for large rooms, the scent barely reached the corners of my space, and I had to place it right next to me to even notice a faint aroma. The diffuser uses Homedics SereneScent oil, but the oils themselves are sold separately and are quite expensive, which felt like a rip-off considering the poor performance of the unit. Even when I did use the recommended oils, the scent didn’t last long and faded after just a few minutes of use. The patented air diffusion technology didn’t seem to make any noticeable difference in how the fragrance was dispersed—it still felt as if the scent was localized and didn’t spread evenly around the room. Another frustrating aspect was the noise. While it’s marketed as a quiet diffuser, it emitted a low, constant hum that I found distracting, especially when trying to unwind. The design of the diffuser is sleek and modern, but the plastic construction felt cheap and fragile, and it didn’t seem as durable as I would have hoped. It also required frequent refills of oil, which was inconvenient and made the product feel like it was more trouble than it was worth. I also found the lack of adjustable settings limiting—there’s no way to control the intensity of the scent, which would have been useful. Overall, the Homedics SereneScent Diffuser did not enhance the mood in my home as promised. It’s overpriced for what it delivers, and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for an effective, long-lasting fragrance solution.

   Sleek design; great fragrance
   I like how sleek and elegant the scent machine is. It doesn’t take up too much space in my living room. I have it set to “2” which I’ve found to be very powerful and appropriate for my space.

   Nice product would recommend
   Nice product it does what it’s supposed to do in my little apartment. Little expensive oil is a little expensive but it does work and the mist is there. It’s low noise. It’s a beautiful piece for my living room.

   The absolute best!
   I got my first two homedics diffusers from Costco last year. This year Costco at the upgraded model you run with an app. Because I’ve done all the Pura plugs inns I preferred to not have an app run diffuser. I just bought this one and have purchased another as a gift. I don’t mind the simple plug in with remote or push the buttons on the base. I admit to not using homedics oils. I don’t like them. I tried a few last year and don’t care for them at all. But this diffuser is excellent!

   DON’T. DO. IT.
   It worked well for the first couple of months- although (like other reviews) the timer was never reliable. After that, it just quit working. The timer is trashed, but that doesn’t matter- because NOTHING comes out of it when it DOES come on. I’ve looked online and cleaned it… everything I can find to try to make it work. It just doesn’t. So frustrating! These things are NOT cheap, and now I have all this expensive oil.

   Perfect Gift
   Purchased this for my wife as a Christmas gift. I was a little skeptical if it would work. I was surprised how well it made the entire house smell. The scents are great and smell really good. Keeps a nice light smell in the entire house not overpowering just right. Would recommend and performs as well as my friends high end diffuser.
