    AN EXCELLENT BAR KIT THAT HAPPENS TO INCLUDE AN EXCEEDINGLY ACCURATE LITTLE COCKTAIL BOOK
    This is a nice bar kit. I like it a lot. I think most people would also like it quite a lot. And you can’t beat the price. My muddle did come with a small piece of wood chipped off at top; and the stainless steel from which the measuring cups is made is thin. I would’ve love it if it felt more substantial. Also (and this is easy to miss), the photo on the Amazon site says a corkscrew is included in the set. But what’s included is a beer bottle opener, which I actually prefer.The Sapele wood that’s used for the base of the kit and the muddle, has a dull appearance. I plan to fix that with a little food-grade oil. I think the wood grain will really pop if it has a bit of shine.But none of the above observations (criticisms?) are not going to keep me from giving this Kitessensu Kit a 5 Star review. So you don’t have to read any further if you’re busy, but if you do… what is most impressive about Kitessensu — for me — is the included “cocktail recipe booklet.”I was born in Havana, Cuba, and I’ve spent a good part of my writing career, in this country, writing about my past. During that journey, I’ve had the necessity to learn the history of the “Mojito.” What’s impressive about the Kitessensu description of the Mojito is that it’s all TRUE There are so many things about my culture that are reported inaccurately, that coming across a description of something, even something small, that’s accurate, is incredibly gratifying. Thank you, Kitessensu. The recipe for the Mojito in the cocktail book is also splendid, as are all the recipes for the cocktails.[The Mojito was invented, as all things are: slowly, step by step, as a reflection of the history, culture, environment, and character of a people. It is believed that African slaves in 19th century Cuba, mixed lime juice (to ward off scurvy, with the local yerbabuena (mint), and guarapo (a drink made from sugar cane), to hide the rough taste of aguardiente, a rum-like drink made from sugar cane, with a high alcohol content.]

    Solid Starter Set!
    This is far from a cheap set! The box arrived packaged well and everything is individually wrapped.This set has some weight to it, so the wood used isn’t cheaply made at all. All the tools are of great solid quality.Would of been a more complete set if it had came with a stainless shaker! But nonetheless a nice starter set or gift idea for anyone planning or practicing to be a bartender. Even just to practice your mixing skills to impress yourself and friends.Set comes with a nice pictured list of a few of the most common drinks you should learn to make first.Great addition to your home bar! and overall Great Quality Set!!

    I love this tool set! It’s so attractive sitting on the counter next to our spirits and it has a very pleasing weight to all the pieces so it just FEELS quality. Super simple to put together, took maybe two minutes although it is a little unfortunate it doesn’t have a holder or slot or anything for the muddler so you just have to put it to the side. Overall I love it, and it has made mixing drinks quicker and a little more fancy

    I got this for my home bar and to take to my bartending job on busy nights. My bar is super small and the drink station is very awkward. This product makes doing a larger volume of cocktails much faster because three tools I use frequently (jigger, strainer, spoon) are right there in front of you. It is much better to slide these tools back into their groove hanging up on this rack than to lay tools down on the bar mat, cutting board, or nearby area.This looks super cool and people always notice and comment!I wish the muddler had a place to “live” on the rack as well. The muddler is big and bulky. I found it a little awkward to try to find a good place to set it down in my small setup. I don’t really use the bottle opener tool because I have another one that I prefer so it would have been cool to have that section of the rack available for a more used tool or for the muddler somehow.Overall, I really like this product!

    Gorgeous Set
    The pictures do not do this set justice. The wood is gorgeous, it will look so sophisticated sitting out on your bar.The metal pieces are nice and heavy. Nothing about this feels cheap. In fact, I’ve decided to give it as a gift to a close friend for his bar. It will go well with just about any other setup someone has.
