No obvious results after the first month; erroneous seller claims
This is a white-label epilator made by an unidentified custom OEM manufacturer, which is exported and sold here by the online retail labeller Shenzhen Fanli Technology Co. (China), under its Licnia trademark. SPECS 1. It is not a laser, as misleading described by the seller at the time of this writing, but an intense pulsed light [IPL] device. Lasers emit photons that are monochromatic (of a single wavelength), coherent (in phase), and collimated (not divergent). In contrast, IPL devices like this one emit polychromatic light within a wide range of wavelengths in each pulse whose photons are neither coherent nor collimated. 2. It emits light flashes from a small xenon arc lamp, mounted with a yellow filter in front to block the short wavelength blue and UV radiation that the arc emits. The lamp is claimed to provide up to ~1M flashes, but the risk of lamp failure and blocking deposits on the glass bulb increases as xenon arc lamps age, so it is unlikely to provide that many. Its output is listed as having a lower wavelength limit of 510 nm. The flash window is 1.18 x 0.39″ (3 x 1 cm), and the energy output varies between 1.5 and 3.5 J/cm sq. in five discrete steps — the flash window must be fully pressed against the skin during use. It uses a 12V, 3A power adapter for 120/240V and 50/60Hz mains. 3. The included dark-green goggles are a broad-band color filter that seems to block light below 500-510 nm, and to attenuate higher wavelength lights by no more than about 1.5 log units of optical density. Depending on both the manner and the time of exposure, that density (~3% transmission) may not be enough to protect the eye when directly exposed to the flashes. 4. Contrary to the seller description at the time of this writing, the Licnia model D-1151 on sale here does not have the “2 flash modes” claimed in the bulleted text. It also does not have the “A/M modes” claimed in an image in the Product Description section of this page. The instruction manual makes no mention of different flash modes. 5. Light devices produce effects when the light, absorbed by the skin, causes the emission of photons that carry thermal energy. Pigmented skin molecules that absorb such photons are heated by their energy, and can be destroyed by thermal coagulation without affecting neighbouring cells. For epilation purposes, the lighter the skin and the darker the hairs, the better the results — the FAQ of the manual recommends not to use the epilator on “white, gray and golds [sic] hairs” or “dark brown and black skin”, or both. RESULTS After the initial month of the epilation plan of the manual, my wife hasn’t noticed obvious changes in hair growth using the “standard 3” (2.5 J/cm sq.) flashes. She has white skin and thin brownish hairs; per dermatological advice, she avoided sun exposure or waxing during the 2 weeks prior to starting the treatment, shaved and moisturized the skin the day before each irradiation, and applied the device in a cool room. Given the absence of side effects, and advised that at-home IPL treatments are slower to work and often require more sessions than professional ones, she is pursuing the plan further. Do no expect quick results. RISKS Take the time to read carefully the long manual, particularly its multiple warnings of the Forbidden, Dangers and Caution sections. To avoid a cumulative iris damage, especially if having a dark-ish eye color, always use the goggles, do not flash towards the eyes, keep the flash window fully pressed on the skin to avoid light leaks, and do *not* treat the region around the eyes. At the time of this writing, the 2nd, 4th, and 5th images from the top of this page –showing a model not wearing the goggles, and with the device either pointed directly at her eyes, or not fully pressed against her skin– are oligophrenically irresponsible and indicate this company did not bother to read the manual. __

Good to remove hairs from my leg.
Laser hair expulsion requires a very long time to really accomplish, typically considerably north of a year. At a laser hair expulsion business you can go once at regular intervals so the skin can recuperate and the hair development cycle arrive at proper timing. So it’s difficult to say on the off chance that this item genuinely works or not until I’ve had it the full fourteen days it claims it will take. There is a grammatical mistake in the infographics of this posting that doesn’t help my conviction. It doesn’t hurt however much my expert laser medicines did yet that will be normal. My skin is disturbed however that is likewise normal. The shades included with this IPL gadget are astounding. I trust the organization keeps giving them and doesn’t change to something different. The other gadget accompanied shades that you’d use for an easygoing evening walk. They truly block no splendid lights. These ones are dim. I was really ready to watch what I was managing without shutting my eyes when the blaze occurred. Up until this point I have partaken in the IPL. I was somewhat apprehensive to attempt it to start with. In the wake of utilizing it on the lower settings it doesn’t hurt by any means.

Sleek design, easy to use, thorough instruction
This is my first time using this. I read the instructions and it is very thorough. I posted pictures of the list of forbiddens so you can read if any of those things listed applied to you.Since it waa my first time and I got a little confused, I posted the video of how to use it incase you are like me (need visual guidance). I can only post 1 video so I couldn’t post the one while I was using it.I tried the first gear as suggested for first use and I’ll see how it goes for 48 hours.I did smell burning smell which is normal. But so far no redness or anything.I can’t tell how the result would be, but so far so good. I’m pleased that it is easy to use and safe if you follow the instructions.
