4.5 stars; an affordable option for home use; be aware of skin/hair color limits
This is making a difference albeit slowly. From another time when I did home IPL a few years ago (I didn’t quite get them all), I learned that it takes a lot of time and dedication. It will take more than 8 weeks to be hair free. Professional treatments work faster but are also a lot more expensive. One of the product info images shows you need to use more regularly at the beginning and then keep it up once a month after. The reason for that is that initially you’ll have a lot of hairs at the right time in their growth cycle for the device to zap, but over time, hairs that weren’t in the growth cycle will grow and need to be zapped. Some hairs are stubborn and require more treatments, too. Also, another review is skeptical of this product since it comes with a skin type chart and also doesn’t work on some hair colors, namely blond, red, and grey (if you dye your hair, only consider your natural color). This is normal, and if you have dark skin, this treatment is not for you. I didn’t post a picture of the skin chart since they already did, but I would consult that before buying if you have darker skin. Even at day spas, most professional devices have restrictions on skin and hair combos.

Unwanted Hair Falls Off Within Days. But Don’t Think It’s an IPL *and* Laser. Just IPL.
I think this works pretty well. My hair definitely falls out after using this, and although it does grow back, it does seem to grow back a somewhat slower and thinner. I have not been using it long enough to get permanent results. However, I have had laser hair removal done professionally and I do know that even with a professional, the results can be slow but steady. That seems to be how this works. You have to stay on top of it. It is a slow process though because it’s very small and you have to repeat this over and over and you can only zap a few areas at once. Why I marked it down: I believe this is IPL, not laser. I don’t think you can combine both, and they are not the same thing. I don’t like that they used both names to get people to purchase this. I know that some sellers will do that because many people don’t know there is a difference, but I just don’t like it that they do not make that clear. I have the Tria laser hair removal, which to my understanding is the only true home use laser permanent hair removal device on the market.Time will tell if this is permanent. I believe you need about six months in an area to tell if the results are permanent. I will continue to use it until I truly see how well it works.

    Hair Removal Device: Gradual Results
I ordered this device because some areas of my body tend to grow hair more than others, and I wanted to see if it could help slow down the hair growth. I have thick hair and African American skin. So far, the product has lived up to its claims, although it doesn’t remove hair quickly—it’s more of a gradual process. I’ve noticed my hair becoming thinner and even falling out. The setup was straightforward, and getting started was easy. It didn’t cause any pain or skin irritation, which was a huge relief. I like that I can select a mode that suits my skin type. While I haven’t seen a reduction in hair growth speed yet, the device is definitely making my hair thinner. Hopefully, one day, there won’t be any hair in that area at all. It feels so much better to have smooth, hair-free skin, and this hair removal machine is helping me achieve just that.

    Hopeful
This is the kinda of things you need to use dFor a long time to be able to give a good review but this is what I think so far. 1st great packing. Nice looking box and a really pretty color it is pretty small. No huge machine that would take a lot of space.I have only tried this 1 week on my chin, upper lip, and legs. To use it is pretty simple minimal effort to know how to use. I tested 1st to make sure I do not get any reaction and I didn’t so I continued. Never use this without trying 1st. My chin Hairs were thick and would grow daily. They still do after the treatment. The only thing I’ve noticed is them taking a little longer and just a little fewer. Not sure if I’m imagin it but I think itnis working. My upper lip I didn’t have much and is been a few days and I haven’t seen them. My legs also I’m not hairy and after a few treatments they seem to be getting thinner. Again I’ve only done it for 1 week. I don’t know if that’s all that’s gonna happen. Getting thinner. But definitely I’ve seen some changes. Minors but changes. I’m excited to see in a few weeks and I’ll update with before and after pictures

Must have patience to see results
I’m truly happy that I bought this laser hair removal device. This IPL laser has an ice cooling feature and infinite flash. You also get a pair of glasses that you must wear when using because you do not want to damage your eyes from the lasers beam. The process does take time and multiple uses so I’m patiently waiting for the results. Can’t wait for the day when I don’t have to shave anymore, but highly recommend.

Was optimistic but it won’t even power on
I was hopeful that this laser hair remover would help to eliminate the need for constant shaving and that it would be more cost effective than having professional laser hair removal. But instead I was disappointed. This unit doesn’t even turn on and if it did the cord is too short. I somehow thought it was going to be cordless and rechargeable but it is not. Then unit does come with dark glasses and a razor.

    not permanent
This doesn’t seem to do much more than slightly slow hair growth. If you want real results you’ll have to go to an electrolysis clinic for a very long time

Not intuitive to use but seemed to work
I’ve been using this weekly for a few weeks on my arms and legs and it does seem to work on my medium brown hair over tanned skin, but I do find that I need to go back and re-read the manual every time before I start a session with it because the operation doesn’t seem to have become intuitive for me yet.
