    Great Mixing Mat!
    I ordered this for a project I’m working on. I’m transforming an old hutch into a small bar. This mat is exactly what I was looking for. It’s thick enough and heavy enough to do just what it is supposed to do. The ideal tray for adding salt around the rim of a glass, a non-skid backing, a solid area for mixing drinks and also a nice little area for slicing fruits for drinks. I may grab a couple more as gifts!

    Finally, something to keep my mess under control
    It doesn’t matter how much I try; when I mix cocktails, I make a mess on the counter and a sticky one, so this mat helps me stay tidier. I like that the cutting board section is built-in, and I don’t have to drag that out to make cocktails. I am not a salt kind of guy for my margaritas, so the built-in rimming section wasn’t necessary to me, but it can be used for other purposes as well. What you will note upon receiving it is how “rubbery” the back side of the mat is. It is like a shiny silicone or rubber grip on the counter. It doesn’t shift, which is a good thing. The cutting board round is removable and reinserts with ease. Overall, I am happy with it and like how it has cut down on my mess. Clean-up is a breeze with just running soap and water over it when I have completed my task as a bartender—anything to make my job easier and less messy.

    Good looks and quality
    This bar mat was the perfect size and look for the area of our counters we always make drinks on. It is a little bigger than I expected, but that was welcomed. I like that it has an elegant look to it while being plenty wide and having the cutting board and salt/sugar rimmer at opposite ends. All together this is the perfect combo and will fold from 3 parts into 1 for easy storage.

    Not a bad idea for occasional entertaining
    This is an interesting 3 in 1 bar mat, probably best used for those with limited space on a counter, but who want to serve up something with a salted or sugared rim. An ideal I suppose would be margaritas.It comes in cellophane, and doesn’t have a strong chemical smell [which some rubber based products can have].The downside for me with this one is that the cutting board/circle side arrived without a cutting surface – it was just a round space with a sticky glue spot in the middle. I’m not entirely sure if the cutting area was meant to be removable, or needed to be purchased separately, but my impression was that it should have been there. It is entirely possible it fell off during shipping or handling as well.So here’s why the 3 stars – if I were to serve up a sticky drink with a salted rim, I would presume that the whole thing would go into the dishwasher. Given that the one part was missing, I guess I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be a whole unit going in there, or if it’s a hand wash only item. [If it’s only hand wash, then it’s not all that convenient to clean any more, after salt mess and cutting fruit mess.]

    Very Nice Portable Bar Mat
    I call this my portable bar mat, because I will frequently go to a friends or family’s place to make drinks, but it generally gets messy and I don’t really have a place to prep. This small but versatile mixing bar mat was the perfect addition to my bar, because I can quickly fold it up, take it, fold it out, and be ready for mixing immediately.

    High Quality Bar Mat
    This is a very well designed and durable bar mat! I’m pretty impressed with it. It’s not flimsy and the grip keeps it in place. It has deep grooves for messes and the cutting board part is removable to get it nice and clean.
