Salon quality, better price!
It did turn out that way for me – âsalon quality results at home!â I think it did help me to have a few Brazilian waxes done professionally, though. Although I was usually busy chatting with the person waxing me, I did get an idea of how to apply, place and pull the wax. The instructions still helped immensely as I did attempt to follow them closely, with those waxing experiences being over a decade ago. Echoing the other reviewer who recommended baby powder to additionally prep your skin for wax to adhere well. A trick I discovered was using a mug warmer to keep the wax warm after microwaving as it took me an hour. I used a small stainless steel lid in between the mug warmer and plastic wax jar, not knowing if the warmer would be too hot otherwise. That way I could take my time and not worry about constantly running to reheat the wax.

Dupe’s or Formula Change [ UPDATED REVIEW ]
I’ve bought from this brand in the past and my most recent order, it’s like the formula has changed. When I’ve purchased before, the wax was a hard wax (a pink color, smelled fruity, and was not translucent at all when heated/melted and hardened). I’m not sure what happened recently if it was a formula change or if I was sent dupes, but the color of the wax was red, smelled like cinnamon, was translucent like the melted part of a candle in glass, and dries rubbery and SOFT. I believe I was sent SOFT wax and not HARD wax at all, and for course, dark, thick hair (especially for Brazilians and bikini), HARD wax is often used.UPDATE: (12/12/2021)Since the wax formula is no longer a hard wax, you have to treat it like a soft wax and use some sort of “strip” material (muslin, cut up old t-shirt, bed sheet, etc.) with this sort of wax. Like other brands, you need “strips”, unlike regular hard wax where you can pull it without. The “strip” method for soft wax works but they should UPDATE their directions because this wax requires a different heating temperature + “how to wax” process. The directions and materials out comes with is INCORRECT and NOT AT ALL for the “soft wax” this brand has changed formulas to. So, they need to update product material/packaging/instructions/AND PRICE since you’re no longer paying for what is provided or advertised.

Soft wax good for bikini but not brazilian
The wax is easy to use. It is very soft. Beware, do not use on inner labia or pubes. Unlike hard wax used in salons, this one crumbles on thinner skin and is really difficult to remove. On the bikini areas, it took a few tries to get all the hair but it was painless. On the inner labia, it gets very messy, painful, and difficult. If you have a warmer, it might work better. I had to keep microwaving to get it to be warm and it got stringy and the sides were nearly frozen. Despite 7-8 minutes in the microwave, the wax on the sides just didn’t melt. If Nair can make the wax harder, that might work better. Another thing, do not leave the wax on for any amount of time. When I left it on the required 30 seconds, it got very hard and difficult to remove. If it is hot and applied, then it can be removed right away. It wont get all the hair out but there is less risk of ripping your skin that way.

It’s Works
This is my first time purchasing this product from Amazon. I was very disappointed in how it arrived. The box was ripped open. The mailing material was intact but not the actual product. It took me a few days to decide if I still wanted to use this product. Ultimately I did. This product does work. It’s imperative that you follow the directions. They don’t mention it but please use powder prior to application to soak up whatever moisture you may have on your skin.I used this product only on my underarms. I broke my underarm into 3 sections – top, middle, and bottom. This method worked for me. Find what works for you. It is NOT pain free. Obviously, it’s hair removal via waxing so some pain will be involved. Stinging, that kind of thing. I found it to be manageable and tolerable. Much better than I remembered. I’ve only bought this product once, a few years ago from Ulta. Decided to try it out again and found that Amazon sells it since Ulta no longer does. The photos are just a few of the “strips” when I removed the hair from my underarms. I had a lot more. I think on the package it says enough for 3 uses. I’m not sure about it. Definitely enough for 2. As I get better and improve I can see getting 3 maybe 4 more uses out of the tub for underarms.I have not used it on the pubic/genital area. Have not yet built up the courage for that.

Worked really well for me
I’ve used a bunch of different waxes and this one is by far the best for bikini area. Significantly less pain and less mess, and still more effective than others. I see some conflicting reviews, but I think the biggest issue may be that there is a lot of room for user error – just have to follow the instructions very closely. Couldn’t recommend more

PERFECT for me, might not be for everyone
I agree with all the other positive reviews defending this product. Sure its a little finicky but its a total learning curve to use. I found it to be cheaper, easier, and less painful than going to the salon. I generally don’t have an amazing pain tolerance but I found this to be great because i can control how much hair I pull out at a time, unlike in the salon where they go for massive patches. I get less ingrowns and my skin feels great for weeks after.HOWEVER, I tried to use this on a friend and it was horrific for her. She has looser skin than me and she is total bleeder. It was so painful for her she wouldn’t even let me finish. I tried to do it in very small patches but she screamed each time I pulled it out and couldn’t bring herself to pull the hair herself. Mind you, she goes to the salon regularly so her hair wasn’t overgrown or especially thick. So in summary, it may work for you, it may not… give it a try. It’s only $12 and that a heck of a lot cheaper than a trip to the salon. If it doesn’t work for you, leave an honest review but have some perspective that every one is different. On it’s own merits, I find it to be a great alternative and a quality product for a crazy affordable price.

Yo lo uso más para la cara, pero funciona en todas las áreas, solo es algo chicloso para trabajarlo pero fuera de ahà es buen producto.
Thought I would try my hand at a at home brazilian wax. Heats up really fast. Waa able to do it all myself but I took my time and had to re heat 4 times. Mission successful. It was painful but not too bad. Will be purchasing this monthly from now on.
