    Skin Enhancing & Evens Out My Complexion
    I started using Neutrogena products way back in my teenage years when it was mainly just facial cleansing products. Flash forward several decades and the product line has evolved into lots of sunscreen and makeup products as well. I chose this particular makeup because now that I have more mature skin I want something that spreads easily and enhances my skin as well as contains ingredients that are good for my complexion too. This Healthy Skin Liquid makeup contains Vitamin E and soy that has skin enhancing properties. It also contains feverfew which can have skin calming effects. However, if you have allergies to ragweed you might want to use caution with a product containing feverfew because sometimes it can possibly trigger allergic reactions. It is sometimes a good idea to check out a new product on a small area or do a patch test if you are unfamiliar with ingredients or haven’t used them before. I like that there are some shades of this makeup that have warm undertones too so I can find something to compliment my complexion coloring. This line does offer deep shades too-however, they were not part of the shades offered when I ordered this product online. You might be able to find the deeper shades at some large department or discount stores that sell Neutrogena makeup products. I also appreciate that this Healthy Skin makeup has some sunscreen although I do wear a regular sunscreen under my makeup when outdoors for any length of time in sunny conditions. The makeup wears okay in cooler conditions when my face is less oily or sweaty–although I do wish it was possibly more transfer or humidity resistant (I don’t wear it on hot, humid days). However, compared to pricey high-end name-brand makeup products it is pretty reasonable and my skin tolerates it well–no breakouts, etc.-so it is okay for days when I don’t need a sweat-proof makeup.

    Great product!
    I don’t think that I have ever used a “bad” Neutrogena product. After I saw this one used on a YouTube video, I decided to purchase it. I picked the next to the lightest shade but it is too dark & peachy for me but I will try to use it. I will get the lightest shade next time. I got Natural Ivory.

    Favorite makeup
    I had a coworker walk out of work and ask me what kind of makeup I used. She said I had ‘flawless’ skin. I laughed. I said I used Neutrogena makeup. My skin is not flawless. My makeup is lightweight with no oiliness. I love it and it makes me look good. I could not find it in the store any more. The only place I can find it is on Amazon.

    if you have rosacea and are considering buying this, don’t! I am so disappointed in Neutrogena. This stuff is terrible. It does NOT lessen the appearance of rosacea. It does not help to hide it. It leaves a film on top of the rosacea and makes it look even worse. It goes on very dry, not creamy at all, and will not smooth out after you have worked to try to get it on. There’s no way to get it out of the bottle without using something to dip it out. I NEVER put my fingers in my makeup as fingers, even after washing, still have bacteria which gets in the makeup and grows. Who wants that on their face? So it’s very time consuming to fool with and doesn’t leave a good appearance after you get it on. Who wants to spend money for that?? No more of it for me!! I’ll keep looking for something that actually works!!

    Not as creamy
    I bought this as a substitute for the Loreal liquid foundation that I normally used and were sold out of. While this product itself is not bad, I was not thrilled with the texture. I did not think that it went on as smooth as the Loreal. The color is a bit too oragny for me. My fault though because I should not have bought a new type foundation online without testing the color first. I wont send it back because I’ve already used it. Overall, not a bad product, just not for me.
