   Obsessed
   It’s the first advent calendar I’ve ever had. It was so fun to take a moment every day to slow down and try something new and do something for myself. A new flavor every day of high quality tea without the commitment of an entire box of tea you aren’t sure you like. Presentation was nice and there was a note behind each teabag. Now I know which teas I need a never ending supply of.

   I sent this as a gift, not because it’s an advent calendar but because it provides the opportunity to sample so many Numi teas. The gift was well received.

   More than just 24 different teas to try
   There are 24 all organic different teas, each tea is nicely labeled as to caffeine level from caffeine free to medium caffeine to high caffeine. The numbers don’t go in order so you can kind of have fun finding the number for the day you’re on. Also, behind each tea bag is a suggestion to do something to make your holiday season a little more fun for you or a little nicer for someone else, or a bit of information about the tea. I hope my son gets as much pleasure out of this during the lead up to Christmas as I know I would. It can be a very frenetic time of year, but sitting down with a cup of tea every day really helps to slow things down.

   Hard to give as a gift when packaging is all beat up
   I’m a Numi tea drinker for going on a decade, and their teas are fantastic, hence 5 stars overall.I ordered three of the “Tea bag gift set” – that’s literally from the item description – to give as gifts. They were stuffed into a barely padded brown shipping envelope and arrived all squished up with damaged item packaging not fit to give as a gift. I had to remove the Advent calendars from the product boxes and repackage them for wrapping.As Advent calendars go it’s kind of meh. The randomized numbers are low effort and you can already see all of the teas. I’d rather they just put the numbers in order at that point or skipped them entirely. Easter is the hunt, Advent is the surprise.
