    PAINFUL…but worth it
    Alright. I’m a Greek/Mexican woman. I have some Hair, some thick thick dark hair. And unfortunately, both me and my boyfriend love some nice smooth skin. I don’t mean smooth looking, as you get with most electric razors, I mean SMOOTH. Waxing smooth.But I’m no rich girl, I can’t afford a full leg and a brazilian wax. In addition, wax is super messy and extremely awkward to do. Hair creams smell terrible and don’t leave me as smooth as i want, hand plucking is just irrational, and laser is expensive. Which led me to this product.Lord almighty, the first time I used this I almost passed away, but that was because I hadn’t read anything about it, so if you’re here reading this, I want you to listen.Step one: Shave two weeks in advance. The longer the hair, the more tugging action there is. You want the same length you get for waxing, about a grain of rice.Step two: Draw the HOTTEST bath you can manage. As close to boiling as possible. This epilator is waterproof, it is built for this I promise.Step three: Get Not Sober. For the first time at least, you want to be a little fuzzy. Maybe a drink, maybe a little toasted, or maybe just take some ibuprofen.And finally, step four: Get a distraction. I scope out the area I’m going to do well in advance, set my phone up with an ebook in eye sight, and I read a page as I’m going over especially painful areas. Take a small break while I’m turning the page, and then start again.This method works EXTREMELY well. I epilate about every week and a half to two weeks, depending on when I start to get bothered by the growth again, and it has gotten much less painful every time.Basically, if you like the feel of a fresh smooth shave and you’re not willing to sacrifice it, but you don’t want the investment of waxing or laser, THIS IS THE PRODUCT. Yes, it is decently painful the first time, but you’re in control! Take my advice, go at your pace, and soon you’ll be in a regular routine of a 30 minute session every couple weeks. And I use this product everywhere. Legs, armpits, bikini…lower than bikini….Absolutely flawlessly smooth, everywhere.10/10 would buy again, I have suggested this product to every woman in my life.

    I’m so mad I was waxing when this was an option!
    I remember my mom getting ahold of an epilator back in the 80’s and her and her friend trying it for a second and deciding it wasn’t worth the pain. It caught their skin in it and there was blood. I have been waxing for about 2 years but I put it off for months because it’s messy and painful. I finally decided to try this after seeing a YouTube video. I figured if I was already dealing with all the pain of waxing I might as well try it and see if I could handle it. You guys… this did not hurt. A tiny little touching a sunburn kind of sensation but not even as bad as that. I am mad now that I never tried this until now. I’m 41 and have been struggling all these years. I had a few shots to prepare my nerves as the YouTube video suggested and thismorning I thought “I better finish my legs” thinking I had done just a patch to test it out. I forgot I did it all last night while watching a show, my armpits and legs, because it was just so quick and painless. I didn’t even need the bourbon. You don’t have to pay a waxer or deal with the mess yourself anymore people. This device is awesome! I’m only giving it 4 stars though because I wish there was some kind of trap for the hairs. The hairs are just kind of spit out all over. I haven’t tried it wet in the shower yet. Gonna brave the bikini area next and I’m not even worried about the pain because my legs always hurt worse when waxing.

    Great Hair Removal Device
    I recently bought the Philips, and I’m really impressed with the results! The device is easy to use, lightweight, and has a comfortable grip.     Good and effective product, recommend exfoliating prior, might feel pain on first try but will slowly get used to the sensation

    did not rip out leg hairs at root, but great at sensitive areas
    I’ve been epilating for 20 years and this is my 5th epilator.Pros: I don’t know if it’s because of the speed or the plastic tweezers but it’s not very painful for using it in the area down there (where they tell you not to 😉 it did a really great job. I have now used it twice and this was the case both times.Cons: It did a horrible job at removing my leg hairs, the broke off and most of them didn’t come out at the root so when they came back they were MANY ingrown hairs. I have now used it twice and this was the case both times. I don’t know if this is the same reason of it working so well for the lady areas (speed and plastic tweezers?) or what. To note my leg hairs are pretty fine, but I’ve had no trouble with epilators handling them in the past.I’m going to look for a new epilator for my legs, but I might keep using this for my lady area since it was so fast and painless. I can compare for the lady area once I find a new one. I will be making an effort to buy one with metal tweezers since all of mine have been that in the past.

    EXCELLENT Product
    This product is absolutely the BEST. I own a NO NO which was extremely expensive. This product is by far better than the NO NO. Works GREAT. I only use it on my face and I am very happy with the results. It works so well, I only need to use it once in about 10 days. Love this product.
