Hard to beat value wise.
Let me preference by saying I got this trimmer on sale for under 50 dollars. That being said for the money, I was really surprised at how well the trimmer functioned. It has multiple attachments that make this useful from anything to hair cutting, to nose trimming. The battery life has exceeded my expectations as I have used numerous times and have yet to have to charge it. There are better trimmers out there, but not at this price point. Highly recommend if you want a good quality trimmer without breaking the bank!!

No need for constant charging. Itâs super easy to use and has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend the trimmer. It does the job and is perfect to keep yourself well groomed.

Excellent Performance and Long-Lasting Power â 5/5 Stars!
The Philips Norelco Multigroomer All-in-One Trimmer Series 7000 has been an absolute game-changer for us. Weâve been using it as our shared primary trimmer since July, and the battery has yet to need a recharge, which is incredibly impressive. The blades trim very closely and effortlessly handle even thick, coarse facial hair. While the shaver attachment doesnât give as close a shave as Iâd hoped, itâs not a deal-breaker for me since I prefer shaving with a blade. Overall, this grooming kit works beautifully, offering both reliability and great performance. Iâm giving it 5 out of 5 stars for its durability, efficiency, and value.

does the job for beard and body trimming, but not versatile for haircuts
We bought this shaver/trimmer for quarantine haircuts last year, because it showed up as part of that search and had great reviews. We were first-time DIY hairstylists and trusted that this kit was comprehensive for whatever we might need, due in part to the large number of pieces it came with. That didn’t work out so well, but I’d still recommend the trimmer, just not for haircuts.Bottom line, you should buy this only if you’re keeping your hair very short. Happily, my husband started using it for beard grooming, so it’s paid for itself after all. It’s sturdy and the battery seems like it holds a charge for several hours, though I haven’t timed it.The downside is that it is really just a beard and body trimmer, not a haircutting tool. The longest guard included is 16mm or about 0.6 inch.If you want anything longer than a buzz cut, you’d be better off getting a Wahl, as there are so many Wahl-branded length guards, and because their basic kit already comes with attachments up to 1 inch. We ended up needing to buy multiple “universal” guards sized 1-inch and longer, and they are not a good fit with this trimmer (they wobble and we have to tighten them on with rubber bands) while the reviews on the universal guard stated that the Wahl trimmer did fit them.I wish I had done more research and read more reviews before purchasing this. I didn’t realize that you can’t buy longer guards for the Philips or I definitely would have bought a different trimmer instead, and for half the price too. For nearly $60, plus the cost of the extra guards we had to buy, this was a costly mistake to make. However, on the plus side, the trimmer has worked well for almost a year, I use it to clean up the sides and back of my boy’s hair, and since my husband began trimming his beard with it, I’m not so annoyed at all those “unnecessary” attachments. It’s easy to operate and fairly easy to clean. The weight is good and it hasn’t cut anyone. All in all, this is a durable electric shaver with a ton of attachments for lengths under half an inch. If you’re buying it for eyebrows, nose/ear hair, bears, armpits/body hair, etc., it’s a good buy. If you’re buying it to make cutting your hair during COVID faster and easier, get a different brand that fits longer guards.

A great tool for keeping hair neat and short
The Trimmer 9000 is a greatly improved version of Norelco’s earlier hair trimmers. About 6 or 7 years ago, I had purchased one of its predecessors, and never got much use out of it – short battery life and a weak motor made it pretty worthless. When the pandemic broke out, however, and you couldn’t go to the barber without taking your life in your hands, I decided to give the new one a try, and it was like night and day. The battery in the 9000 lasts not minutes, but hours, or even days on a single charge – it literally just keeps going and going. After several uses, I see no decline in strength or speed. The design of the cutters and attachments is much better, as well. With the extra-wide and full-size trimmers, I’ve been able to trim myself down from medium-length (1 or 2 inches) hair down to almost a crew-cut, and have since been giving myself frequent short haircuts and beard trims – the attachments ranging from 1mm to 12mm have all worked well. There are two precision pieces – a shaver and a trimmer. With the precision shaver, I’ve been able to shave in tight spaces, like the part of the upper lip just below the nose, more easily than ever before. With the precision trimmer I’m able to reach places that were always hard to get, like just above the ear. The nose and ear trimmer also works well (though perhaps not quite as well as the Panasonic ER430K, which also has a built-in vacuum – a very nice feature, in case anybody at Norelco is listening). I only have two criticisms of the 9000: first, the location/design of the power button. The power button is too easy to press, and is in such a position that it is very easy to press it accidentally while in the middle of shaving/trimming. I have been using Philips Norelco rotary shavers – many different models, for about 40 years now, and in all that time, with all those different shavers, I never met a model that would shut off while I was shaving. The power button on the 9000, however, is a completely different animal, and it’s annoying to find that when I’m in the midst of a trim, any little turn of my hand will make the power go off, so I have to stop what I’m doing, turn it back on, get into the position I was in before, and start trimming/shaving again. (This is the reason I gave only 3 stars for Amazon’s “Easy to hold” rating category.) My second criticism: while it’s great to have such a large variety of attachments, it’s a little overwhelming, and the pouch is inadequate. Some of the attachments seem duplicative: I can see no reason there are 3mm and 5mm body guards, as well as 3mm and 5mm beard guards, when all four are made to go onto the same full-size hair trimmer, and the two 3’s and the two 5’s cut to exactly the same length. The trimmer pouch only has one pocket for all the attachments, so even though there are half a dozen for the extra-wide trimmer and half a dozen for the full-size trimmer, you have to throw them all into the same compartment when you’re done, and then sort them again when you’re ready to start again. It would make so much more sense to have one well for the full-size trimmer attachments, and another for the extra-wide, etc.

Good upgrade
A solid product, but its needs to be for the price. Holds a charge and the new style feels good in your hand. The new adjustment head works well, and the cordless style adds to the value and weight reduction.
