   This is very sad
   Candles don’t have much scent. It’s too mild. It doesn’t exist. This candle had somehow attracted a swarm of ants to my dresser, and even when I blew out the flame the night before, there wasn’t a six-legged demon. While I do live in the desert, this is the first invasion of the year and the first ever to reach the 2nd floor, let alone break through the defenses of my room. I suspect they were attracted by the excess oil in the candles. It should also be noted that vanilla smells very much like burnt popcorn. After further evaluation, I felt it necessary to add “fire hazard” to the list of features of these candles. When the candle was near the bottom and almost completely used up, the flame rose at the top of the terrarium and became so hot that part of the glass turned black and even melted the glue holding the label. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone close to me

   Nice Scents, Good Value*
   Overall happy with these candles, although I am worried that the wicks won’t make it to the bottom. I find that I have to clip the wick while it’s still hot to get the best result, which usually ends up falling into the wax and getting stuck there. But if I don’t trim it then, it curls back into the wax and needs to be dug out and clipped before I can use it again. That’s the reason for the * in my review title, it’s a good value if I only get partial use out of it, but if I can game the wick and burn it to the bottom? Great value! Wish me luck.

   Poor wick placement / design. Smell nice, nice appearance, packaged well.
   Normally I don’t write these but feel compelled with these candles. If you don’t plan on burning the entire candle at once and use it over time only about half of the candle will be usable in my experience.Eventually, the wicks will become encased in the wax and impossible to light, or, they’re in there in such a way that the wax will melt and then ultimately the candle goes out. Then, the wax dries, encasing the wick, and you’re left with either digging out the wicks (which then break) or you just skip to tossing the candle into the bin. Some are also comically off center. You will need longer matches or lighters as a regular lighter wont be able to reach the wick early on the the candle’s life.The product is packaged very well. They also look nice in appearance and do smell good. Lavender Woods is a little soapy but scent is personal preference. Leather, Oak, and Smoke/Vanilla are great scents. 3 stars.The issue with their size, wick placement (off centered), and how much use you actually will get out of them is why I subtracted 2 stars.Coming into the holidays, as a man, I wouldn’t be upset receiving these as a small gift for those who have men in their lives they find difficult to shop for and always say “I don’t want anything.”

   Not good at all.
   This candles are terrible. They just smell like wax and no real scent. The wicks are terrible. Half way down the wick is covered on wax and you’re left with half a candle. You get better candles from the dollar store honestly that last and actually smell good. I have 2 stars because I like the tin they come on and the packaging is good quality but the candles themselves smell like donkey butt.

   Nice and Fragrant
   These are some nice candles, and they are not overly fragrant. Not bad for making the house smell nice. Not overly feminine smelling in my all male household.
