    Good value
    Awesome kit, except for the little cleaning brush (the bristles began to come out within a few weeks). I didn’t take off for that as it is easy to get a little paint brush or such even at the local dollar store that will do as good.The oil is clear and clean and not super smelly. The other tools all worked great, and I absolutely love the needle keeper. My sewing machine came with a cover already, but I checked that this cover fits well, and it does. I will store it for future us. All in all, a good kit. They just need to improve brush quality.

    Pretty basic but does what we want
    So I wanted it for the machine oil which most sellers are only doing in these massive quantities that I will never use. The 4-stars come from the machine oil having leaked a bit though still sealed? May have been another package that exploded on top of it, anyway, there was machine oil all over the bag that they included, just tossed it because there is no way we would have used that anyway.Decent tools, nice small oil container that fits inside the machine so we don’t loose it.

    Worthless, and poorly packaged.
    The three stars are for the quality of the product. If I was reviewing the packaging, it would be one star.This isn’t worth the money. Very little oil in this tiny package. Comes with the cheapest ever short dust cover, an oil bottle, a nozzle, a cheap as hell tiny plastic magnifying glass (which did work, I must say), three screw drivers, and that round, red-topped thing is a needle holder (which is the only cool thing in the kit). It states that it comes with a phillips head screwdriver–mine were ALL flat head. Screwdrivers were tiny, cheap, and useless, since most sewing machines come with waaaaay better ones (even cheap machines). Oil container was tiny and LEAKED.The rest of this review regards the packaging and product condition, which is not reflected in the rating (or it would be worse). The inner foil seal was intact, eve when I squeezed it. It leaked so bad that it even went through the cheap flimsy little bag that hold the oil, and soaked into the cardboard. The needle case had a fingerprint on it–almost looked like it was in glue. There was hair on it. This pack looked used. The blister pack that held the items was not snapped or sealed, it was stapled. Perhaps it comes from the factory this way. I doubt it. I think part of the problem was the horrible packaging from either Singer or the seller, mixed with Amazon’s poor shipping packaging. The contents must have become under pressure during shipping, and because it was not in a firm, well-packed box, the oil ended up somehow leaking out of the bottle or through the bottle’s seal. The seal itself was firmly glued to the top of the bottle, and firm but gentle squeezing by me did not produce any drips, so it wasn’t a defective seal. It was poor packaging, both by the seller and by Amazon.Even if the packaging had been perfect, I’d only give this a three star, at best. It’s unimaginably cheap products, and I’m pretty sure you’ll find it’s not worth the price. Just buy yourself a big bottle of oil for $4, and skip this $7-8 package of useless items.

    Helped a lot
    Helped me fix the sewing machine I was gifted. Got rid of the rust using some sandpaper and the oil used in this kit. The little screwdrivers are great but I recommend a magnetic one and some oil if the screws are rusted like mine were.

    The kit arrived just three days ago so I haven’t used it yet. However, I am pleased with the contents. All the basics are there including oil and three screw divers. I have way too many sewing machine needles so was pleased to see the organizer, and as I get older the threader with magnifier will be useful. The full sized cover is great since I have two machines. While one is mounted in the cabinet, the second one can be covered to protect it from dust. The kit is a very good bargain for the price.
