   Can’t say enough good things about this and my skin’s response to it. It’s very soothing and thus is the one beauty item I will splurge on. One 150 mL bottle lasts about two months. Package arrived quickly in perfect shape.

   There is no substitute
   For wrinkle treatment, there really is no substitute for SK II.Simply the most amazing formula ever. I have female relatives that have used this and it really shows… they look incredibly young for their age. At least ten years younger than normal.

   Not worth it!
   If you are expecting to see results you can actually see, do not buy this product. What a waste of money. I can tolerate the smell which some say is horrible, but I just can’t tolerate paying so much $ for a product that sits on my face and does nothing. I have noticed no suppleness or added moisture. Maybe it just didn’t work for me, but buyer beware!

   I noticed that my skin is more radiance than before and much more softer. I use this product as a toner and it works great. I’m not too crazy about the scent. It’s not strong, just a bit fishy maybe.

   Feels good, looks good
   Based on the recommendation of a friend who has used sk II products for years and who have tried all top brands, I decided to give SK II a try. I’ve used most of the major brands myself. Didn’t like La Mer (too rich, and need to warm up the cream in hand, no visible improvements to skin). I got the Essence, SK II cellumination cream and Signs Eye cream to start with, and did a comparison between these and Shiseido products that I was using daily.My daily care procedure:1. wash w/ Shiseido Benefiance cleansing foam2. tone w/ Shiseido Balancing Softener3. apply eye cream and face creamDuring the 1st wk.1. on my left face and forehead: SK II Essence and creams2. on my right face: Shiseido Bioperformance Advanced Super Revitalizer and Shisedio Benefiance Concentrated Anti-wrinkle eye creamAnd then 2nd wk, I reversed the side. Now I have used it for a year, here is what I observed:Essence:Pro’s: I literally looked 5 years younger immediately after applying it. My skin looked like soaked in moisture and nutrients, supple and soft. Fine lines disappeared. The effect gradually wore off during the day.Con’s: when my skin is irritated, it gets sensitive to the Essence. But it only happened once or twice in a year or so.Proper way of application: though the leaflet in the product tells you how to use it, it was the sales person at store showed me the trick: need to press it firmly with your palm and finger tips into your face until it is fully absorbed. So, it is basically press, press, press, press…Cellumination: looks like semi boiled egg white, feels like between gel and creamPro’s: very light textured, absorb super easy; seems to lighten the dark spots and even my skin tone. it also hydrates very well which is surprising for such light textured gel creamCon’s: when my skin is irritated, it gets sensitive to the cream. But it only happened once or twice in a year or so.Signs eye creamPro’s: very light textured and absorb super easy; it seemed to reduce the puffiness under my eyeMy skin type is normal w/ oily t-zone, but seems to be occasionally very sensitive. When it happened, I just stop using the Cellumination or Essence for a few days, then I would be fine again.In evaluating the effects, I tried to eliminate placebo bias (but not sure I was able to be 100% neutral due to my human flaws). The immediate effectiveness of SK II seemed to be there, though I am not sure about the long term. For now, I am happy w/ it and will continue to use it.Where to buy: I bought mine at a department store. Con’s: price is higher at department store even after promotion (they normally give you a full size Signs eye cream if you spend more than $350); pro’s: authenticity, service, a cool machine to test your skin condition that you can go back, retest and compare results.

   Excellent for the face as well as for stretch marks
   I bought a bottle of SK II Facial Treatment Essence as an experiment, as I’ve been on a facial cream testing spree. My skin is adjusting from it’s teenage oily phase to a more adult dry/combination phase and so I’ve dropped all the acne products and started with products like this.To my delight, it worked perfectly. I’m only on my first bottle— I’ve been using it every night since March, and at the moment it’s still half full. My skin has smoothed out, uneven spots and mild acne scars have lightened to the point where they are barely visible, and my pores are noticeably smaller. I’ve since then received many compliments on my skin, even once during grocery shopping without any makeup on my face at all.A little while ago I tried patting some on to my stretch marks as well, on my shoulders and on my stomach. A month of continuous use later, even my stretch marks were less visible. The best way to describe them would be “fuller”. They’re still there, but have risen to the level of normal skin and so are less prominent. SK II is a very expensive stretch mark treatment— it’s a very expensive facial treatment!— but I’ve tried others such as Bio Oil and various creams and they have never worked as fast or as well as SK II.All in all it was a very good investment and I plan on ordering again once my bottle runs out. It is also a statement for the product that even after continual application to my face and body nightly, since March and July respectively, it has lasted this long.
