    Good hair product!
This is a really great product and has worked wonders for my hair.

    Not Sure It Hydrates
This detangling cream is a solid drug store product that leaves your hair smooth and shiny as well as smelling lovely. The cream doesn’t feel greasy and doesn’t weigh down fine hair, which is a bonus. I can’t say that the product noticeably hydrates hair, but it seems to work well as a detangling cream and shine serum. I mainly got this for my toddler daughter, who has a knack for tangling her hair into crazy knots somehow, and it works reasonably well for this purpose.

    Soft & Conditioned
This is a great detangler and adds shine and smoothness to hair. Great purchase.

    Shine
I use just 1 pump on dry hair. The shine is awesome.

    Disappointed
Pump didn’t work and when I unscrewed the top to see if it was clogged, I noticed that it wasn’t full. I believe that it was possibly a returned item due to the pump, but it was used due to the amount that was missing.Very disappointed as I was excited to find it and use it.

    Standard big brand product
This works about as good as most other products that claim to hydrate and detangle. Nothing spectacular to rave about.I probably won’t use it again after looking into the ingredients. Some of the ingredients are questionable… A large company like TRESemmé, under the Unilever umbrella corporation, should know that all ingredients should be listed on the Amazon listing, and they are not. They also have “Fragrance” listed as an ingredient pretty high in the ingredient list. That’s usually a red flag since companies are allowed to hide all sorts of toxic ingredients under the word “fragrance”… why not tell what’s in “fragrance”? Furthermore, there are other ingredients listed that are fragrances… so what’s REALLY in “Fragrance?” The blue dye listed is the worst. My ingredient apps tell me Cl 42090 is related to moderate cancer risks, developmental/reproductive toxicity, neurotoxicity, endocrine disruption, bioaccumulation, organ system toxicity, and contamination concerns. I’m not sure why they felt the need to add blue, red and yellow dye to it anyway… like why does it need to be a dreary peach color? Were they trying to match their gold design on the label? It’s going on hair, it doesn’t need dyes.I shouldn’t have expected anything less from a Unilever brand. It’s PETA approved, tho… probably because they didn’t want to test it on animals, knowing the health data may come back less than favorable. As a health conscious person, I wouldn’t recommend this. If it feels like a good price, and you don’t mind average haircare products with less than favorable ingredients, then go for it.Ingredient list for anyone curious:Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Lactic Acid, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance, Behentrimonium Chloride, Dipropylene Glycol, Amodimethicone, Sodium Chloride, Disodium Edta, Peg-7 Propylheptyl Ether, Cetrimonium Chloride, Macadamia Integrifolia/Tetraphylla Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (coconut) Oil, Citric Acid, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Coumarin, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool, Blue 1 (Cl 42090), Red 33 (Cl 17200), Yellow 5 (Cl 19140)

Works really well as a pre-treatment.
You can use this as either a pre-treatment, a rinse off treatment, or a leave-in treatment. I really enjoyed using it as a pretreatment in particular. My hair continued to get quite dry until in the winter time. I found that using this as a pretreatment is really upped the shine factor and my hair does feel softer.I found it less effective as a rinse out treatment though. It does not wait my hair down, nor does it feel sticky.I thought the scent was fine, nothing particularly great but not offensive either. So overall I think the functionality is good, and it’s a decent value for the money.
