   Cuts close to the skin
   I got this because I had spent the last 6 months using a manscape 3.0 (the older version) and then it stopped working. I wrote a review about it, I actually bought two and they both stopped working. Their CS replaced them but I didn’t want to have that issue again with the quality not lasting, so I don’t use it anymore. I’m also a chick that has skin that does not benefit from waxing, so I trim instead. This trimmer feels nice in the hands. It’s comfortable to use and maneuver. The noise level seems typical for a trimmer. You cannot use it in water, so I took off one star for that. It trims extremely close to the skin, which is what I was looking for. The Manscape trimmed close, but not as close as this. This is like when you’ve shaved, and the itchy grow out phase has already passed and you’re left with everything clean and trimmed with no discomfort. You do have to make sure the skin is pulled nice and taut to get the best results. I was a little scared to go back to a regular trimmer (since the Manscape was known not to nick or cut the skin) but I prefer this simply due to the closer cut. I don’t use any clips with it when trimming so it’s right on my skin. It would seem inevitable to get a cut here or there but just pay attention and move semi slow to hopefully avoid that. Also, I think it will last longer than the Manscape due to quality production from Wahl. I work in the beauty industry and their products are trusted amongst the pros. It charges with a cord that is provided with the item.Overall, I’m satisfied and happy with this device and would most definitely recommend for a trimmer. I have tried just the plain ones recommended on Amazon as well, and those don’t last either, they just wouldn’t work or charge. This is the third or fourth trimmer I’ve purchased over the last few years, so hopefully it will last the longest.

   Does Arm Pits , yay
   My wife found this on Amazon. She likes the razor because it does everything she needs it to do. Especially the arm pits. No rash and no burn. It’s very hard for a woman to find a razor that does this.

   Not the sleekest presentation from Wahl but a trimmer that works as advertised.
   Given that this trimmer comes under the banner of a trusted company like Wahl, I am rather unimpressed with the presentation of this trimmer. It came in a rather shabby looking cardboard packaging. It does come with a traveling case but the case itself is nothing special. Not the trimmer actually spins at 6000 rpm which is pretty good. Funny considering, that’s actually more powerful than their original magic clip hair clipper which is still kind of their flagship product. Still though, we’re technically not talking about men’s grooming tools even though the delineation of whether these products are for men and women seems purely dependent on the color. As far as trimmers go, be they for facial hair or body hair, this trimmer gets the job done without too much fear of snags which is important since it’s marketed as being able to shave sensitive areas. For the price, I must say that as decent of a product as this trimmer is, I can’t give it more than three stars.

   In summary: Excellent quality. Sturdy. Easy to hold. Blade can be replaced if/when it dulls. It gives a very close shave and can be used in multiple areas. A few more details: I rarely take the time to leave product reviews, but this trimmer deserves a review. Plus I was so frustrated that this trimmer never showed up in my searches. I searched for this brand and found it. This IS the trimmer you’ve been looking for. This is the brand so many hair stylists use so I decided to try it. It’s a bit heavier than the cheaper white trimmers I’ve bought in the past, but the weight is not an issue at all and should not detract from purchasing it. It shaved remarkably close and I also used it to trim up the back of my husband’s neck and it worked like a champ. It’s obvious this trimmer will last for years. I highly recommend.

   Continued to break within a month
   We bought 2 of these products. The first stopped working within a month, and the second began to turn on and off regularly also within a month. I understand receiving 1 lemon but 2 in a row? Compared to the male trimmer (which we also have and is clearly well designed and functioning normally), cannot recommend this product.
