   I bought this cocktail kit as a Christmas gift for my husband, and I can’t wait to see his reaction! The set is absolutely lovely – every piece is beautifully designed, and it feels like such a high-quality gift. I peeked inside the box when it arrived, and it’s all organized so nicely, making it look fancy and special right out of the box. Definitely one of those gifts that hardly needs wrapping!The kit comes with everything needed to make fun and impressive cocktails, including some very cool extras like the ice cube stamp and little golden picks for garnishes. The recipe cards have gorgeous photos and are easy to follow, which I know he’ll appreciate (and I will too when I get to taste the drinks!).Honestly, it feels like a gift for both of us since I’ll get to enjoy the cocktails he makes with it.    Great Gift Set!
   I love this kit! It has everything to get started with whiskey cocktail making. I love the additions like the menu cards (very easy to understand), the ice molds, and the cocktail picks. Different than other basic kits that already contain the basics; I love how this goes above and beyond for entertaining and making the cocktails more exciting. I can’t wait for the next dinner party, sure to impress my guests. The quality is very good and the packaging is adorable. I will definitely be getting one for my friend for her birthday.

   Perfect kit and also a great gift idea for him!
   Again, I am very impressed with this company’s products.The box is nicely designed and looks like something that could be a fancy gift for somebody. I was so happy when I opened it and saw all of the items inside. They were organized well and they seem to be fancy and classy and exactly what was needed to make some really beautiful Whiskey cocktails. I would be proud to serve these to my guests.The silicone ice cube mold is perfect and easy to get them out of. The little golden picks for olives or garnish are so pretty and I love the ice cube stamps! Such pretty added touch!The recipe cards are beautiful and have fantastic photos and easy to follow recipes.I love that it came with a little bitters bottle and a zester and measuring cup.I would definitely recommend it and I will likely be buying them in the future to give as gifts to my friends and especially male friends. Sometimes it is hard to find a perfect gift for a man and this would definitely be one!!

   Good introduction to cocktails/ bar starter. Whisky fans probably already have most of this.
   A good bar starter kit. This set is primarily for making nice garnishes and fancy cocktails. The box comes with a jigger (measuring cup used for cocktails), four picks (for holding garnishes/decoration, a decanter intended for holding simple syrup (you make your own), a peeler/zester (also for making garnishes), an ice-cube tray (makes six large ice cubes), an ice press (puts decorations on your big ice cubes), and recipe cards for making five standard whiskey cocktails.If you haven’t made/mixed cocktails before, the cards are very nice step-by-step instructions. There is also a QR code that takes you to an instructional video. All of it super-friendly for people who are just getting started.So what if you are not a beginner? If you already have a bar, you *probably* are not going to get anything new from this kit. You probably already have most of these utensils. With the exception of the ice mold, all of these are very standard.They are nice quality tools and have a handsome art-deco style to them.If you have a bar of mis-matched tools that you have accumulated over the years (like me) they are good replacements.The cocktail recipes are nothing exotic, you can find them in any drink bible / website / app. If you already know how to mix a drink and make a garnish, you won’t get much use out of them. They are all good beginner cocktails: more sweet and flavorful than strong. You can get by with an inexpensive whisky using these recipes, the other ingredients will mask most of the whisky taste.The ice mold was interesting.This is not something I have run across in a bar set before. It is a metal grid that sits in a silicone molded tray. You take one of the ice cubes and set it on the grid for a few minutes. The grid presses into the ice as it melts and makes a cool design.I put the cube(s) on the tray before I started gathering my ingredients. By the time I finished prepping the drink, the ice cube had the design in it. It’s a neat concept and makes for a pretty distinctive cocktail presentation, but the design melts away pretty quick once it goes into the drink.If you are looking for a gift for a whisky fan in your life, about the only thing they are going to get out of it is the neat ice mold. It is a really good gift for people who are wanting to dip their toe in the cocktail pool.
